ok for a beginner

My plan was to upgrade graphics card, memory etc as I had money to do it. This was for my 14yr old son and his gaming is frustrating with THIS computer. SO DISAPPOINTED when I was told by a technician at Best Buy that this desktop was not upgradeable.

Gaming for the Price of Basic Computer

Its works great for them, they love the color changing and since they don't have any internet at the moment, there is little they can do on it. The computer is going a bit to waste, but for the price, it doesn't matter.

Ifor you can find good parts to upgrade it with on Craigslist or the like, do it. My wife got this machine, and we upgraded it with a GTX 960 and a new PSU. It runs like a dream, and is just what we wanted. Very upgrade friendly. Also, note that it apparently fluctuates in price between $400-500. Get it when it's cheap.

I researched online and then asked a lot of questions at BestBuy service counter. The clerk was tremendous help and I have not been dissappointed at all in my purchase.
