I thought this computer would be really good with a rx 580 gourmet, but it turns out that the one used in this computer is one of the worst models of the 580 gpus. I would spend $1200-$1500 on an actual good computer than $800 on a sub par one.

Awesome Gaming Computer at Amazing Price

I have built systems in the past and also bought off the shelf systems. I always would rather build one or have one built I never imagined that Best Buy would stock this kind of computer... but they do and it is wonderful. What you get is a great built PC that is almost as good as custom built for you. The parts used here are top notch from the motherboard to the video card to the CPU. The case also is amazing and you can see how much care is put into the construction by the way the cables are managed inside... everything is clean and neat and tidy. This is a great higher mid level machine that should be relevant for many years it will top any console right now in power. Also the way this machine is built I can upgrade parts easily because I know the components there aren't any proprietary parts it is all like you would order if you were going to build your own system. The RGB lights are a nice bonus with a rainbow of settings.. just that extra cool perk!

    Shuts down randomly

I purchased this computer on 4/30/18. I honestly am not too familiar with computers, so I felt that this could be a great starter gaming PC. I immediately had issues with the computer shutting down randomly for the first few days. After those first few days, the computer worked relatively smoothly, only to start shutting down again but at a more frequent pace. I contacted customer service and they requested I troubleshoot by connecting directly to the wall socket (did not work) and to perform a paperclip test. As a complete novice to computers, I do not feel comfortable performing such a test, so I am waiting on customer service to get back to me on next steps. As of now, I can not recommend this computer to a friend. The computer sporadically shuts down without warning.

Ordered back in March, shipping was quick but ups broke open the box and tried retapping the thing. Plugged in everything, got power to everything but it wouldn’t display on my monitor I tried several different cables both display and HDMI also tried reseating the graphics card with no luck. Next I noticed on the motherboard there’s a EZ debug light on it and both the DRAM and CPU was lit so I call tech support and the told me to do everything I already tried then they said it was DOA and they will email a return order slip, I never got that. I got several emails from them including a email about me contacting them for my tech support call but my return slip never showed up so I just returned it back to Best Buy.

    Great Gaming PC

As someone who usually builds or heavily modifies their own PC's I was admittedly skeptical about buying one in store pre-built. And I had never dealt with Cyberpower PC before. However after doing my research and taking a look at it in store I'm glad I gave them a chance. To start with the specs really can't be beat for this price, the RX 580 graphics card alone is usually around $250 and has run everything I've thrown at it at 1440p for very high end games, and 4k for everything else with the settings turned up. It also sports the new Ryzen chipset which is a very competent mid range processor. Also the card and processor were just released in April so they're still being optimized and have room to grow. As far as functionality and aesthetics go the case is very attractive for the price, and keeps all of the wires bundled out of view behind a panel on the right side, while the components are accessible behind the glass panel on the left side. The case is clutter free and leaves plenty of room for future expansion. There are also vents at the top and front to add at least 3 more fans in the future if need be. The only real foreseeable drawback I could see is that it doesn't include an optical drive, or a space to add an internal one to the case, however if you really need to use disks external drives are fairly cheap. In short it's a great upper-mid range gaming PC with more than enough room to expand in the future. The video card, and processor are both very recent (April 2017), and the price is only slightly more than it would be buying all the components yourself and dealing with the hassle of shipping and assembling everything yourself.

    Pretty Great

For being only $750 dollars, I'm really pleased for a mid level gaming computer. I've only had it for about a week now but so far it's performing really well. My only complaint was the HDD and the slow startup associated to it. Simple fix of buying a 512GB SSD and moving my OS to that and now it flies. I also bought 8GB more of RAM to be safe. I also wish the WiFi were part of the motherboard instead of a USB stick but I'll fix that soon enough but going hardwired Ethernet cable for more reliable speeds. I really like it and I'm happy I bought it. The mouse and the keyboard are pretty good too which makes you one monitor away from a complete desktop.

Wow. I've not had any genuine trouble with this computer so far, at all. Not only is it shockingly easy to use, but so far, it owns up to the speed and power it boasts about. The computer itself is amazing. However, I do have a couple of notes. One -- the keyboard it comes with. There doesn't seem to be, from what I've found, a brightness adjuster; which is a bit inconvenient, but I might just be blind. Secondly, you're gonna need your own speaker and/or headphones, and also a mic. But beyond that, it's great! The mouse is beautiful, the performance is outstanding, and it's remarkably easy to set up. Granted, I've not had it for long, but I trust that it will stand the test of time for a good while.

This is a good gaming machine for the money. It's not a 'blow your socks off' gamer, but is adequate for running all but the most intensive games. The Ryzen 5 processor plus the Radeon 580 provide excellent speed and great graphics.

Had it for less than a year kept getting a blue screen and that eventually turned into a red screen. Took it to Best Buy to fix they said one of the software files was corrupted even though a red screen is caused by a problem with the gpu. A month after Best Buy fixed it, I kept getting the blue screen so I called the manufacturer and told them all the stop codes I got. They said it might be the ram, network driver, etc; basically they didn’t know what was wrong with it. You’re better off just building a pc on your own.

This is a great PC for the money, if you look at the components themselves and attempt to build this yourself - it's very difficult to come close to the price. Thus far performance has been very good...the only downside is (as other reviews mention) the fans are quite loud, but not a major issue.

My pc shipped to me this morning with my desktop monitor. I plugged it in and the fans and lights work but there is no display and I’ve tried everything in my knowledge to make it work even called geek squad and nothing. It’s not working and I simply find it unfair for me because if everyone is working fine how come mine isn’t? I really don’t understand And I’m so frustrated I really don’t know what to do anymore.

      Dear Nico,

We are deeply sorry to hear of your experience. If you still possess the Pc then we strongly recommend to ensure the monitor is connected to the appropriate video ports on the computer. You may noticed there are two sets of ports, one set near the top half of the case and another set located on the bottom half. If you have not found the bottom half it may be due to those ports having protective plastic tabs on them which may force them to look like buttons. remove these tabs to reveal the ports. For the Pc to display you will want to connect it to the bottom half video ports. If you are still having any issues then please do not hesitate to get in touch with our support agents; we're happy to help anyway we can.

Worked Perfectly! Pretty Nice, Quiet & Colorful <3

This is my first time ever bought a cool, decent, brand-new, tempered glass, RGB gaming computer and here are my experiences when I first used it: it's pretty quiet (it seems like you don't even hear it if you don't listen carefully), it's cool because of the changeable RGB (SO COOL TO ME!!!), and it's pretty easy to install, AND you will also get a free game, a year of free using an antivirus software, etc... Additionally, the Ryzen 5 1400 3.2Ghz 4-cores 8-threads is pretty fast and plus the 4GB Dual RX 580 make it actually become a monster in term of gaming and productivity. So I would definitely recommend you to buy this computer if you're on a 'not pretty tight' budget, around $650-$750...! (I bought it with $630 on Black Friday sales XD)
