    Excellent PC

I purchase this PC on Black Friday for $629.99. Originally, I wanted to build my own PC, but after seeing the price of this Cyber Power PC, I couldn't pass it up. For me to build the same PC, plus add windows 10 to it, it would've costed me about the same price, if not a little more. The PC booted right up and is running WoW on the highest settings, no problem. Excellent PC!

I've been enjoying this computer ever since I got it. It's a very good PC for gaming, allowing me to play blizzard games like Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm with ease. It's pretty fast too. The hardware that it comes with are of pretty good quality as well. I like the design of the keyboard and the mouse is comfortable to use over a long period of time. Also, the LEDs are cool as well but I wish there was also an option to switch them off at times.

At first I was shocked that it wouldn't turn on like a lot of computer I received from a box. But after a quick call to tech, he informed me that I had the cord in the wrong port. Since then the computer has been the best I've ever had, performance wise. It is nearly twice the size of my old computer but this allows it to be upgraded and used farther down the road, which is a big plus for me! Overall it is an outstanding buy.

    My first one!

Id like to start by saying that this is my very first PC I have ever purchased. I had a computer before this one but it was from 2011 and it was an all in one which just never turned back on one day, and from then I had just used my MacBook. I was really interested in windows and what they offer as far as software and the different supported hardware. I am also into gaming, but on Xbox one. I thought it would be nice to try PC gaming. For the price, this seemed liken the perfect choice to me. It was on sale for $680 dollars at the time. I am very pleased with the performance of this machine. The RGB lights are a nice touch and the added gaming mouse and keyboard is just a bonus! overall, I am very pleased with this machine and am glad that I made the purchase and switch to PC! Thanks BestBuy and CyberpowerPC for letting me experience this! Oh and setup was a breeze! make sure you read the activation guide though! took me a while to find product key sticker. But all is fine now.

Got this computer for Christmas and love it! My wife picked it out after a TON of research and talking to the knowledgeable staff at our local Best Buy. She also got a great deal on it! It works well for the gameplay I needed it for (DOTA, PubG, & Minecraft for my son). Love the tempered glass side wall. Love that I can change/upgrade it in the future. Overall, great computer, operates beautifully and a great price!

Unrivaled Value, Nearly Perfect Midrange Build

    Posted .

I use this machine for light gaming on a 1080p monitor and casual mining otherwise (I didn't believe them at first but you actually make a few dollars a day doing no work yourself and the ROI is much much higher than stocks or bonds). Here is the part list after taking it apart: https://pcpartpicker.com/builds/edit/?userbuild=THGG3C First the bad; this machine is so slow coming from ones with SSDs but this is easily remedied by purchasing a small boot drive and mounting in any one of the slots and connecting it up to the PSU. Definitely do this as the HDD is a horrible bottleneck. The RGBs need to be controlled with the MSI App but it keeps telling me that I need to update my VGA drivers (which I have done) so I can't control them. Mine came in purple by default. It's alright, a little annoying to unplug manually when I want them off which is most of the time since the default brightness is extremely high. Again, also minor. The RX580 is also extremely power inefficient for gaming. It has the performance of a 1060 BUT draws as much power as 1080. It still takes 4 hours to use a kilowattt hour though so this is a few cents a day we are talking about here. More importantly, while mining it's supposedly very efficient. Lastly, the R5 1400 is only 30$ less than the 1500 but significantly weaker. This is a bit of a letdown in an otherwise exceptionally well put together system but I haven't had much if any CPU bottlenecking/100% usage in my casual gaming (Dota 2, Witcher 3, nothing too CPU heavy like Arma, 4X games, etc.) Otherwise, everything else is great. As you can see, the parts themselves retail for something close to 900$ (much more if you use the market value of the 580 rather than the MSRP) and they are sensible parts. All of them are off the shelf name brand products, none of that heavily customized impossible to modify junk. If you are very patient, you may be able to get most of these parts at a 25 - 30% discount yourself but at this point in time, when all the GPUs are OOS because of the bots are written by the miners and the people selling to miners, there is no way you will be able to afford a mid-level card like this and stay under 800$. The case is very nice as are the CPU fan (which seems slightly silly since the stock Wraith Stealth is more than enough and would have saved them 20$, what are they even doing with all the free ones that come with the CPUs???) and the KB+M which seem to be about on par with my 25$ CM set (which is why I have it listed in the part list since it is a Cyberpower part that can't be bought separately). The mouse even comes with a weight set! It is nicer than any 10$ - 15$ mouse I have used but not as much as any 50$+ mouse. The included wifi adapter is also very nice. The system works out of the box, if a bit slow since it is on a HDD (replace w SSD). One of my case fans was wired directly to the PSU and running at full speed. So I had to take unplug it and replug it into the motherboard, set it to DC smart fan in the BIOS and it was much quieter. All in all, the build quality is exceptional, the parts are solid, and you're not going to be able to create a midrange machine at the same budget yourself at this point in time. Highly recommended! I bought 2 of them, one for myself and another for a friend. I hope enough of these are bought and industry will see that consumers are willing to pay for pre-builts with sensible part choices and good prices. The most helpful reviewer took 1 star off for the case fan tweak; I think that does CyberPower and Best Buy a disservice because this machine should rank much much higher than any other prebuilt on the entire site. The fix takes 2 minutes to remedy but it is a careless mistake that should not pass QA.

    Great first gaming PC

This is my boys' first gaming PC and so far they love it. We chose this PC because of the upgraded graphics card and the ability to easily upgrade the RAM in the future. As a bonus, they got a free gaming mouse and gaming keyboard, which they love. The color changing LED lights are a huge favorite of theirs as well. So far, this has held up to all the games they play on WiFi. We have not gamed on Ethernet yet, but we did use it for their initial set up and downloads. It was easy to set up, although the free subscription for antivirus has to be physically mailed to you and takes about 2 weeks. They didn't want to wait, and I wasn't going to let them online without some protection, so we used my webroot account to protect it, which I am happy with, but the included antivirus might as well have not been included because you can't use it for weeks AFTER you register your product. That is the biggest con to this PC.

    Good PC for the price

This PC was a great deal at the time I bought it (July 2017) as hardware prices, mainly GPU's, were highly inflated due to the ETH mining craze. It was actually cheaper to buy the prebuilt than to assemble a system yourself with the exact parts. Regarding the rig, its a pretty good build but I have a few gripes. The fans are not PWM, and they were connected to the PSU running at full speed. The stock ryzen cooler should have been used over the deepcool one as that one was extremely loud and the extra money could be put elsewhere. The ryzen 5 1400 is also kind of underpowered and the money saved from the extra cpu cooler could have been used to purchase a ryzen 5 1600 which is a great improvement. The ram is solid, it runs at 2133 by default but a quick change in the BIOS with XMP can get it running at 2400. Cable management on the case was excellent and its a great deal for a prebuilt.

I purchased this computer and was very optimistic about it. This PC has exceeded my expectations drastically, and have been able to run games like H1Z1, CSGO, Skyrim, Rust, and PUBG on max settings no problem. For the price, this PC is so worth the money. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase! If you are looking for a well performing PC at a good price, buy this computer now.

I was a little skeptical when I purchased this desktop. I was pleasantly surprised when I fired this baby up. Even without the solid state drive that I installed later on this desktop was very fast at loading and performance in any game I have played on it. I was even able to play World of Warcraft at the highest settings (granted at a average of 50-60 fps) with no noticeable lag. Setup was incredibly easy even if you have little to no experience with computers. Lastly I am amazed how quiet it is. Even in game on the highest settings I don't hear the fans at all. I read some reviews stating how loud this pc is. I guess I was lucky because it is very quiet here.

Great quality and power for the price, people were complaining about the sound. However, upon purchasing it the fans seem to be quiet although they are constantly running and the GPU fans do spin, but when the GPU hits ~55 degrees Celsius. Overall I would recommend this to someone if you want to shred through any game in the modern age.(Also you can overclock it :))
