Great game but needs some work. Buy for NextGen.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where to start... well I bought this for my PS4 and was lucky to also have a PS5. Do not buy this for PS4 as it does not run well. That said, I do recommend this game on a PS5 or Xbox Series X. The world is vast and amazing but you will need to wait until they do several patches to correct glitches. If you are reading this, buy this game if it is summer 2021 or later.

I don't see the problem.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't see why everyone has issues with this game. The story is really good. I haven't encountered any game breaking glitches. The only issue I have had is NPC's taking a little longer to render. Other than that, I'm really glad I bought this game.

There's a solid in here, if you give it the time.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you find it on sale, and you aren't a highly critical video game and you don't have a backlog full of other, big name games that you also want to play, then this game definitely has some interesting things in it. Its trying to do alot, and it may not succeed in everything, but there's alot of content to do, there's alot to explore. The one thing I will say is that there may not much reward for exploring, so you should do it just for sake of exploring and seeing every nook and cranny of the map. Also, there will be more content updates, and this game studio has a good record of providing quite a bit of content after launch. Also, if you are going to own a PS5, a "next-gen" update will be provided in the future, so there's future support and the game might look nicer and run better. Do I feel like they will every truly "fix" this game and make it do everything that they had promised? No. But I believe this developer will continue adding more and more things to this game than what most people expect. If you find it on sale, there's enough content there to justify the price. I believe there will be more content to make this game above-average in terms of quality.

Awesome game, please formulate your own opinion!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.**Playing on a PS5 disc version I understand there is a lot of controversy going around with this game and I want to put in my two cents. I've known about the game since it was announced 7+ long years ago. My level of pre game indulgence regarding this game was very low to almost non existent. I basically went into this knowing it was an rpg/action adventure game set in the future with a cyber theme. I've spent a good 40-50 hours in Night City and I've absolutely loved every second. Are there bugs? Yes there are. Does the game crash? Yes it does. Does that change the fact that the game is a blast? No it does not. Please formulate your own opinion with Cyberpunk and try to refrain from ingesting too much inernet vitriol being spewed from every corner. This is definitely worth the $60 price tag and will surely only continue to get better as time passes.

Cyberpunk
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good game but sometimes ppl don't give them a chance but at the same time i guess i would expect for a new game to be flawless even tho its different than most games but i dont it would compare to others

Cyberawesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this on PS5. At launch it was a little buggy but after the update it plays fine. I love the storyline and it really is well done. I would not try to play on PS4 as I don't think it can push this game, it was made for the next gen consoles.

Not sure if it works on ps4 but it's a great game
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I played this on a PS5. I prefer mouse and keyboard controls and found the interface difficult to read on PS5. YMMV. Excellent game though, especially with the excellent patches they've put in place over the years. Recommend giving it a shot.

Still A Good Game Worth Playing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes I know this game is riddled with bugs and incomplete. But for the select few of us that pre-ordered this game hoping for good rpg mechanics, and a story worth playing for hours, it wasn't all that bad. I played on the original ps4 and experienced slow load ins and rendering issues in addition to glitches and many crashes, and yet I can't bring myself to trash this game like the rest of the internet. Even if the game was incomplete the story was not and I still enjoyed it. If you remember playing games back in the xbox360 and ps3 days when almost all games released with glitches it's not that different. I know our standard as gamers has risen but I'm a simple guy, bad graphics and glitchers are not the most important part of playing games for me, if it has a good story I'll play it and likely enjoy it and I did enjoy it.

Good on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graphics on ps5 are pretty good in some spots, but the actual gameplay feels a bit clunky for a first-person shooter. Story seems pretty good, but it's tough to stay invested. Keanu and a few others make it more bearable, but something always feels like it's missing for a current-gen title.

Excellent besides the bugs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Soundtrack is amazing. Gameplay is good. Story takes you deeply into Night City. Side quests are fun. Characters are easy to remember and can tie you emotionally to the game. 4 stars, if the bugs weren’t annoying then it would be 5 stars easy

Amazing RPG
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I seriously love this game but in fairness there are bugs. I'm sure they will eventually be fixed and I honestly haven't encountered anything game breaking. The story is great and the characters are really interesting with great RPG elements.

Buy if you are getting next generation consoles
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cyberpunk is the next Crysis game. Needs power, so if you purchase and aren't happy with the performance, which wouldn't be a shock with 2013 hardware ps4s, or xbox one's, which will be 30 fps and under, still hold the game. I just went through the xbox series x version and was very impressed. A few bugs hear and their, but had a blast. 120 hours so far, beat 2 story paths. Love the game so much purchased the ps4 version to check out the ps5 version to do the third pathway. Great game on series x, so should be great on ps5

Good but buggy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A really good game with a solid story and writing that is unfortunately let down by being improperly optimized and extremely buggy. If you have a PS5 or Series X it will run pretty good, but do not try and play it on a last gen system.

Decent Game
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Action packed game. Still has some glitches that would be great if they cleared out but I was able to still live with them and enjoy the game. Good story lines and getting it from best buy pick up was super easy.

Buggy at launch but CDPR is working hard to fix it
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're playing on an original PS4, don't bother at the moment. It's incredibly buggy and will crash consistently. If you have a PS4 Pro or PS5, then you will have a good time. Once you get past the initial release bugs and glitches, the game is actually really fun. There's a bunch of alternate endings and different ways to customize your character to your playstyle. One of my friends who is actually horrendous at FPS games but was able to just slice his way to victory with a cyberkatana. Overall a great game with a great deal of content. In a few months once CDPR patches everything, it certainly will be an amazing game plenty will cherish. If you're playing on older hardware, get it on sale or keep up to date with the patches and hot fixes CD Projekt Red releases if you're tempted to pick it up.

Unpolished Gem
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game needs major patches for it to truly shine. Graphics look amazing at some points during the game then bland in some shots. Once they send out patches to fix the tons of glitches in the game, I know without a doubt it will shine. Story is great!!!! and the content for side quests and stuff to do in the game can leave you immersed for hours.

Bug City
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game was a buggy mess on release. Played on ps5 and it ran at a solid 60fps but the game frequently crashed and I encountered constant glitches. Has potential to be great in the future after all the bugs have been ironed out. Ultimately I returned the game and am waiting for the ps5 version that will benefit from all the upgrades and fixes

Buggy but not broken
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is not a broken as people say it is. Yes, there are some weird glitches and game crashes; but it’s not to the point where the game is unplayable. It’s very much like Deus Ex and Saints Row put into one. The story is amazing

A decent buy at 20 bux with the steel case.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its still kinda buggy. Nothing game breaking yet. But the gameplay is kinda stale and repetitive. It looks really good at times. The opening montage had me smiling ear to ear but after it kinda seemed less and less interesting. The steel case is the bees knees though. Hopefully CDPR has some major improvements coming.
