I was very hyped for the release of this game. I preordered and received the game, and some of my expectations were not met, specifically the awkward character movement, and underdeveloped game physics and AI. The Witcher 3 from Project Red is still one of my favorite games and so my hopes are still high for this game as the devs release patches.

Decent game, I was stoked about this coming out at launch, but held off because of multiple reviews about issues/glitches etc. However, when BestBuy did it's 10 days of video game deals, I couldn't pass this up for the price. Glad I waited to snag this at such a deal, and after many of the issues have been fixed.

Bugs need to be fixed on Last Gen and New Gen consoles. Played on PS5 and still got crashes and bugs throughout the first hour.

Has Potential, But Kind Of Boring

All bugs aside, the story is a little boring to me personally. The foundations for a potentially fun and interesting open world game are there, but CDPR missed the mark. Story is on rails regardless of the story path you choose, and there's little non-story tasks to do to kill time. I often find myself simply running through action just to hurry up and end the current storyline. Not a waste of a game, but definitely not as great as had been expected. Just a note- this is based solely on PS5 gameplay.

Truly next gen graphics and works well on PS5, the scale of the city is gigantic. Story pulls you in, and depending on what ending you get is very emotional. Sucks that launch was screwed up on certain base consoles but once those problems are worked out this will easily be a goty.

I just started this game on the PS5 and I haven’t run into to many bugs. I’ve seen tons of articles about bugs so bad that it’s unplayable but I haven’t experienced that. This game has a ton of collectibles and modifications. It has a lot of potential. The bugs will get fixed and I’m sure we will get free content from CD Project Red as an apology.

Been playing the game for 20 hours on PS5. The crashes aren’t horrible but they do happen. The gameplay is awesome! CDPR is one of the last pro-consumer companies vs EA and I’ll always support them. If you aren’t concerned with minor bugs then this game is great. If you are, give it a few months to get the bugs ironed out! Good luck, netrunners!

Runs great on PlayStation 5, and I love the theme. Story is fun, world is impressive, and there’s a ton of side quests to do that can lead you to different endings. There’s more patches and free dlc coming too, makes me look forward to the free next generation upgrade this year.

Game is unfinished for current gen console, performance is better on the PS5 but still way to buggy compare to PC.

To start yes this game got a bad wrap from release issues. I have been playing on a ps4 pro and pod times are a little longer than I’d like and yes it has crashed a couple times. That being said though so far pretty cool game hopefully they get things worked out or if you snagged a ps5 get it I am sure you will have a much better experience.

The bugs are ridiculous and the game is only playable if you’re on a next-gen console like the PS5

Definitely an unfinished game rushed to release. However, it's still fun if you play it for what it is and not for what it was hyped up to be. I'm about 50 hours in and having a good time, but I also didn't follow the development closely or buy into any hype and marketing before release. Cool environments and interesting subject matter. Buggy but playable. If you're not in a rush it might be better to wait to play until some major patches and/or DLC are released. I'm using PS4 Pro.

Fun game, with some time probably be great ,a lot of bugs to be worked out,but it’s expected with most big games, maybe should have been pushed back again before release, but either way ,would have still made a lot of people mad though lol,but even with the bugs ,a lot of people are still having fun playing ,while they work the problems out.

Interesting game that is different and complex but can be fun to play after you put in the time to figure out. I have the ps5 version and at launch it does have some glitches and crashes here and there however, I am optimistic future patches will make things much better. This game on Ps5 isn't as bad as people are complaining about IMHO.

I was lucky enough to pick this up on sale for $10. I originally bought it at launch but returned it because of how buggy and broken it was. I don't plan on actually playing the game till they release the PS5 update later this year. I'm not sure how it runs at the moment but for $10.... it's hard to beat.

This truly is a great game and it's a shame its getting such a bad reputation. I've put over 50 hours into the game and it has been a great ride so far. Now, it has had its share of technical issues and a few crashes, but I was always eager to jump right back into the game. The story, writing, variety of missions, and overall vibe of the city is just superb and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far in Night City. Considering all the other games that came out this fall I would rate this game as one of my favorites along with AC Valhalla. I just hope that people will give this amazing game the chance it deserves. Judge it based on the content of the game and not the few technical issues that should get fixed in the next few weeks.

Despite many bugs plaguing the game, even playing using the PS5, I was addicted to this game world, story, and gameplay. Night City offers a lot of activities to the player and I never found it boring. Main story is solid and many of the side stories are exceptional.
