Not sure how true all the trash talk is about this game I am a fan of Witcher 3 so I was hoping this would be an amazing game. Despite the criticisms for 30 dollars and the eventuality of this game getting a PS5 upgrade in the future I know the flaws will be fixed in time, and I can wait. On the up side I was still able to get the Best Buy exclusive steel book case with purchase.

All those people who complain that the game is broken etc because they only have the PS4. I played this on my PS5 and it runs better and there are only minor bugs but overall it is playable on new gen consoles and I was able to Plat it before 2020 is over

The premise of the game is excellent, very long and depth story, missions and side activities. However, the bugs and issues with the game itself make it almost unplayable in some cases on certain hardware. Waiting for the official PS5 version to get released.

Cyberpunk is still a mess of a game that doesn't run very well and has tons of bugs. Somewhere buried in there is a fun game, but it's covered up by all of its much discussed problems. Hard to recommend right now in its current state

At various times, this game will go on sale to further up the developer's sales for the game. For the product they have release for the Playstation 4 users, this game is unfinished. This game has been advertised as "completely polished" and "runs well", but for any of you buying this game on previous-gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One), refrain from buying this. Horrible bugs and glitches are graphically shown throughout your playthrough of the game. Crashes are frequent but the developer's have responded for the release by saying that they will continue updating the game with various patches I suggest not buying the game, but if you really want to play the game. I suggest getting a copy of the game on current gen consoles or a pc copy of the game. Be advised that these platform releases still have bugs/glitches in the game but not too exaggerated.

I FINALLY GOT MY PS5!!! I played on the Xbox One X Scorpio and it SUCKED! But on PS5 it runs beautifully. I do hope they patch in a 3rd person mode. Reminds me of a futuristic/Steampunk wannabe GTA game. But better than AC or any other next gen game out there.

I spent a lot of hours in this game. I bought it after the PS5 upgraded version was released. I love the story and the world of Night City.

Disclaimer: I am running this on a PS5. It is a good game despite the crashes. The game crashes every hour or so of game time. I cannot imagine how this performs on the PS4. Likely it doesn’t. I only paid $5 for this on BB so it was a very small investment. Including the crashes in my overall review, I’d say the game is decent and that’s about it.

Only playable versions of this game are for PS4 Pro and PS5. And the new Xbox's. I got this game for cheap and will wait for the PS5 free upgrade to enjoy a possibly good game. It started bad but this game can be excellent in 2022 and on.

I think the games come a long way from when it first launched but its still not perfect. I'm playing through it on PS5 and i get crashes every once and a while still. I'd still recommend it at this price though just not full price.

The game has gotten much better with the recent updates. A lot of bugs have been fixed, and there have been numerous quality of life improvements as well. Great value if you get it on sale.

This game had a rocky launch, but the developers have fixed the game with the latest updates. Also has a PS5 update now. The game itself is a great RPG, three ‘life paths’ are available for your character that give you a different background and some specific background missions Combat is varied, you can do melee, hack enemies from a distance or go in hubs blazing. Or a combo of these. The story itself is very deep, if you choose so, or just sail through it for combat. The side missions also include some of the best story telling, but you’ll have to go out of your way to find them.

Excellent game Playing on ps4. Minor graphic problems and occasional crashes. Mostly stability issues. Fun and engaging story and unique combat. Couple more updates should fix. Definitely worth playing.

It’s a really good game. If you have a ps5 or series X/S I would recommend it. The game still has some work to be done by the developer but it’s a fun world to explore and loot. Last gen machines don’t have the best performance but it’s doable.

Let me start of by saying that if I was reviewing this playing it on a PS4 it would have been a one star. But being lucky enough to play on a ps5, despite the bugs and frequent crashes, the game is kinda fun. Still needs major work though, shoulda been delayed another year and it woulda been perfect. Don’t buy now and wait for a few months till updates and patches come out.

It’s ok. Definitely doesn’t live up to the hype. Lots of stuff is different than the developer portrayed early on unfortunately. Not the quality one would expect from the developers of The Witcher 3. Overall still a fun game. Just not quite all there yet. Also performance on PS4 Pro is just ok. Definitely play this on PS5 if possible.

Overall, it’s great. I play on PS5 and although I haven’t yet finished the game, it hasn’t crashed on me. The only bug I’ve seen is that occasionally, a character doesn’t load in properly for a bit and is walking around featureless.

The PS4 Version is Junk LOL, I got it very cheap as a collector's item. However, if you buy this you can get a free upgrade to the PS5 version.. at least that was the case the last time I checked.

I haven’t completed the story so I won’t comment on that. The game itself is very glitchy right now even on PS5. It’s worth the $10 (on sale) but I’d be pretty upset if I paid regular price. So, I’d recommend it only on sale.
