    Overhyped

Game was fun but it was way overhyped and overpromised. There was a lot of things that were promised that were not even in the game and it makes it feel incomplete. Also the performance on older consoles is terrible. I played on ps5 so luckily it was playable at 60fps but the game crashes all the time and it breaks the immersion

The game has bugs but it's amazing the scope of storytelling is great and CD Projekt Red is already in the process of releasing two huge updates to fix it's flaws so like I said buggy for now but impossible to out down regardless

Amazing game and detail but current gen (Playstation 4 and Xbox one) is lacking a bit compare to the PC version. If you get this version you do get a free upgrade to next gen when it comes out if you have a PS5 or Xbox series X.

A bit buggy but storyline was great, loved the music and the gameplay. A lot of folks complain about the bugginess but it was still worth it to me!

On PS5, I honestly still had fun playing through the story and trying out different character builds. However the technical issues this game released with are unacceptable (besides the endless gameplay bugs I also experienced frame rate issues and multiple crashes) and for many this is not worth your money until they are patched.

Don't waste your money on this game if you have an original model PS4 or the PS4 Slim. It's slightly better on the PS4 pro but I still wouldn't recommend it there either. Not only does this game have tons of bugs and issues, its performance on PS4 is abysmal, almost always running lower than 30 frames per second. The developers claim they're working on fixes but those patches aren't expected until February 2021. You're better off waiting and seeing if they can actually make this game playable on PS4.

Well I specifically ordered from here because it said it would be here by release day, and said so....until about a day before, then it said 5 days after release day. That’s not to mention the game barely works off the disc, they really needed about an inter 6 months to polish this game into the master piece is could have been.....

Was initially largely disappointed with this purchase as the amount of bugs made it unplayable for me. Though after the patch in January, I have noticed a significant improvement in gameplay on the PS4 slim. No more regrets

I would not recommend playing on a PS4, but at $10 on sale, there's really no reason not to give this game a try as long as you're playing on a PS5. The Series X version runs much smoother though.

Admittedly, I played Cyberpunk 2077 on a PS5 so I didn't experience a lot of the issues or as many crashes as PS4 users did. However, what this game was promised to be and have were promises not kept. I am hoping with the updates and the native PS5 version that this game will be closer to what we all wanted it to be.

It's a really good game that has quite a few bugs, but it's fun to play and so far nothing has been game-breaking. I'm thinking the backlash has been overblown so I'm keeping it and expect most of the bad stuff will be fixed.

Game didn't arrive until Tuesday the 15 of December. Loaded the data disc up for 45GB. After waiting for that to finish, got another 45GB update online. Took all night to download so i didn't get to play until next day. Game isn't too bad however it keeps crashing on PS4 at least 4-5 times daily. That is unacceptable in my opinion.

Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 is better with patience

Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 is a good experience, if you have patience. Thankfully, the game has a very generous autosave feature that will come in handy when the game crashes on you every 30-45 minutes. If you don't mind the 45-60 second boot up and load times (if playing off of a SSD), then the crashes won't bother you too much, which is where the patience comes in. I have yet to notice any FPS drops below about 45, and the textures popping in seems more frequent with the newest patches. Speaking of, if you don't have 100GB+ of free space right now, and won't be able to free up an additional 40GB or so by February, it might be best to wait. So far, the three big patches that have released since the launch total about 65GB, and the game itself has about a 50GB install size off of the disc. When it's working, the game is great. The bugs are not too bad (weird animations when you kill someone are kind of funny, actually), but the game overall has a lot of promise. If you're not a very patient gamer, definitely wait until mid-2021 or later for the true PS5 experience, because playing the PS4 version on anything under a PS5 is just nearly impossible.

Note: My rating is purely of the game itself. I know and understand there are horrific bugs in this game. It sucks, really, because I consider this game a masterpiece. I bought and beat it on the PC, and rebought it for PS4/5 cause it was $10. Best Buy is also giving me 25 points to write a review, so here I am. I think that disclosed everything. Cool. This is a very good game, if you can get it for $10, it is an absolute steal. If you can get it for $30, that's still a steal. I paid full price and was more than happy to do so (but I also had a very good experience on PC)

It does have some bugs and broken parts here and there, but overall I had a very enjoyable experience with the gameplay and story. Thankfully they have fixed a lot of the problems, so that always makes it better.

Very awesome game gives off a gta v vibe off a bit . Just needs to get a software patch or constant updates I find myself constantly having to restart the game often because my player will get stuck in weird positions.

I'm playing in PS5 and it runs fine. Not as gorgeous as I've seen in some streams but it fares well. I must say that my PS5 has crashed once, and I did find a bug where I had to exit and reload the game. What happened to this game is sad, and therefore I cannot recommend at all that people buy this if they're playing on PS4.

Despite its flaws, I loved it. The main game was riveting, and the plethora of side missions were all pretty enjoyable. Most of all though, Night City is a joy to explore, and that's what ultimately makes or breaks an open world game. I spent hours just wandering around the city, taking in the sites like I was a virtual tourist. It's a shame much of it is just set dressing, but visually it's all great. While the PS4Pro version lacks the visual wow factor of the PC build, it's still plenty pretty, and after numerous patches since launch, runs pretty smoothly.
