I would wait
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You don't need to read another review about the last gen console problems this game is facing. I will say on ps4 pro it hasn't been to unbearable, and 75% of the time the game is very enjoyable. If you can play on PC or wait until you have a next gen console.

Good game great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good game and now has fewer crashes with the new patch. Has a nice character builder with many options. A vast character tree to pick from and a easy crafting system.

Cyberpunk 2077 (PS4)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game was fun, havent played since the new updates but forat couple of updates, the game would have tons of texture problems and some crashes.i beat the game although i didnt do everything the game had to offer it was an enjoyable story in my opinion. BUT! Now this is a big but,the game developers talked this game up alot and didnt meet everyones expectations, is it a game worth playing yes of course, had me wanting to keep playing, even though the crashes and bugs kept happening.if the game had been delayed it might have been alot better, with that said its still an intriguing story and thrilling gameplay.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs great on my ps5 even though its clearly hindered by the ps4 pro version its forced to run, when next gen upgrade comes out it will be much better!

A Surprisingly Fun and Solid Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A surprisingly solid game, despite the overwhelming negative reviews on the console version. After downloading the latest patch, the game performs well enough on my base PS4 (there are still some frame rate hitches and bugs), but the game is fun enough where I can enjoy the story and gameplay. The shooting mechanics feel very tight, and I like exploring the city. This especially comes highly recommended after purchasing this game for only $10 (which came in with a free steel book case). I look forward to one day owing a PS5 so I can upgrade this game.

Perfect when it doesn’t crash
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played this on my ps5 and outside frequent crashes, it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. But if you don’t have it yet I’d wait on it for the next gen update

Broken at Launch, Still Fun
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Aside from the Trainwreck that was the release of this game, I found myself still able to have fun with it. Combat's not everything that was promised but still comparable to other story games. It's no future-GTA but I still enjoyed myself.

Great when updated and fixed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve played on Playstation 5 so I’ve not had as many issues as on PS4. That being said it definitely has a lot if issues. When the game works though its a lot of fun.

Good game if you have a PS5

Cyberpunk 2077
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is good but not great at this point. Does have a lot of bugs and glitches but is fun to play. Its fine if you have a next gen console. PS5 or Series X but would not recommend playing it on PS4 or Xbox One. Hardware cannot handle the game.

PS5 version Patch 1.5 is awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave this game 5 stars, but know I am reviewing the PS5 upgrade that came out this year. The 1.5 patch has made the game stable and I am glad I waited to try it. Because of that I missed the poor state it launched in. This game has been a real gem though. Story is engaging, game design is what I come to expect from CD projekt Red. Worth playing. Looking forward to the expansions that are still planned for it.

$10 bargain
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for $10. At that price, it was worth a shot. Definitely do not buy this game at full price as there are still some bugs to be worked out

A must in the collection
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is just plain fun. I have played over 40 hours so far and beyond an early bug where I couldn't finish a main storyline quest, it has been very smooth playing and very well done. I feel that I probably have at least that much more time to play, and probably over 100 hours total before I move on. I have been focusing on side quests and NCPD tasks for the most part as making money early on really helps with upgrading your cybernetics and so on. A great wealth of guns, knives and armor to play with, and an incredibly large map to move through the city. Some of the cutscenes are a bit too long, and the interlude after Act 1 while interesting really takes you out of the main story without any notice, but you get it once you go past that point. Several really groundbreaking things for me - natural conversations with people around you, there is still a "talk button" but important conversations just start when you are close to that person. The map is well done, with various tasks, shops, fast travel points and so on clearly marked. You always have many things to do other than the main storyline. Fights are fun, you realize quickly that just running around shooting people isn't smart, and some strategy is involved, especially early on. The stealth mechanics really work nicely and it seems that you get paid more for jobs that you complete without blowing everyone away as well. Inventory management is well done, lots of various tabs that take some getting used to, but gives you a lot of control over your character and your items, leveling up, etc. I find between disassembling items, and selling them I never worry too much about weight. Make sure you hit up a sell point after fights though, the amount of stuff dropped or found is amazingly high. My computer is brand new and high end, so I wouldn't expect any problems playing this game - older machines might have more of a problem, as it is graphically intensive.
