Playable on PS5 but still buggy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is playable on PS5, although you will experience some bugs. The bugs aren't that bad anymore based on what I have seen. Many older games that have been on the market for a couple of years like Fallout 4 still have many bugs as well, but this game is certainly not as polished as it should be. I think the main issue with the game is actually how it wastes the world that has been created. There are many opportunities for interesting stories to be told but unfortunately they are just not there. Anyway, I think it's an OK purchase for $10, especially with the Steelbook which is gorgeous.

Amazing Game if you are on next gen console (PS5)
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is a hot mess on release date for consoles. At this time, Sony delisted the game on PSN and Best Buy is now taking returns up to 12/21/20 on physical copies. CDProject Red upper management should of focus this game for next gen only. I'm currently playing the game on PS5 with patch 1.05. However, the version of the game I'm playing is a PS4 port, so it runs at 4k 60 fps, no complains on that acecpt the textures are on low settings compare to PC. I'm thinking this will be updated, but what sucks is I have to wait till 2021 for a PS5 update. Now for the actual game play: If you are able to play the game, it's amazing. I'm enjoying the main story, totally reminds me of Keano Reeves 90's movie Johnny Mnemonic. I highly recommend the game if you enjoy RPG games. Even tho this is a single player game, the experience you encounter are pretty awesome. I like the fact that some decision making you do can affect outcomes. So the replay value of the game is great. There are 3 different character fractions you can choose from. So when you beat the main story with one, you can always go back and play the others. I read somewhere there are different endings too. If you are thinking of picking this game up for a base PS4, you need to avoid. It's best to upgrade to next gen to play this. The game runs ok on a PS4 Pro, but will be locked at 30 fps. 3 stars because CDProject Red did not give out pre-release authorization for console reviews. I'm pretty sure they knew the game would not run correctly on base PS4 but allow consumers to purchase the game. To me, this is bad and feel like they con consumers.

Overpromised and does not deliver
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is in an incomplete state, I'm hopeful they'll continue their work on it but honestly the base of the game is very flawed. Terrible AI (really, none existent), bad police system. The list goes on with the huge amount of bugs. Driving full speed over a corpse, your car will act like it just hit a brick wall! The studio that released us promised way too much and delivered too little, will never in my life preorder a game again. The story itself is interesting but the world (city) it is set in feel empty and shallow.

Worth buying
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The biggest problem with this title is that it was overhyped, then released too early. I got to play after the patch, and had no game crashing bugs. There still are bugs, but about ten hours in, the game has been fun. The game does not live up to the hype in any way shape or form, but it is fun and the story has been interesting. One thing that definitely is annoying are the constant obscene signs and degradation of women in the game that is on par with teenage boys mentality, but that is not so much part of the story as much as it is found in the environment. Hopefully with the coming patches the game will improve some.

Great Content, but the bugs...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been anticipating this title like so many for so long now. 8 years to be exact. The game play itself, the story line, the side jobs and their respective story lines, all are great in my opinion. But unfortunately the various bugs and random crashes on the base PS4 make it very hard to enjoy. Apparently the PC version and Xbox X versions are solid, so if you have either of those opt for those and avoid the headaches. Hopefully a few months out with some stability patches the experience can be improved No Man's Sky-style. But for now it is only recommended for the previous generation console with a large disclaimer.

Game is great. Crashes often.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am enjoying this game a lot. One problem. It crashes quite a bit. I'm playing on ps5 and have not experienced many of the game breaking bugs that people are reporting on last gen consoles so I will say that if you want to play this game do it on a ps5 or pc. Stability is a problem but as I am writing this I am downloading version 1.05 patch which will hopefully fix some more of these problems. I have seen only a couple minor bugs surprisingly but the crashes have definitely limited my enjoyment of the game a good amount. Having to save often due to not knowing when the next crash will come can get annoying. As for the game itself, superb story and the gameplay is solid. Some people have complained about the driving (you do a good amount of this) but I actually like it as long as I am driving in first person view it is fun and not too difficult. Some of the cars are really cool. The gunplay and cyberware aspect of the game is on point and like I said, great story. Check out this game if you have next gen hardware and don't mind the occasional crash. I figure they'll have many of the issues ironed out by March for next gen. As for xbox one and ps4.... I think those versions aren't ever going to be the best way to play this game.

Listen- I like it. I haven't had major issues.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst glitch I've had is it wanting me to close the game and restart it after being AFK for three hours. Other than that, the only glitches I've seen are "normal" like being able to walk through NPCs on occasion. Not anything to be really upset over or anything that ruins the experience. Graphics and storyline are amazing--it just sucks you in. Honest moment- I am playing this on my PS5 not my PS4. That could be the diff, but I'm not spending hours downloading and updating just to test on my PS4. I personally highly recommend this game with the caveat that you either make sure your PC build is beefy enough to handle it or you're using a new gen console. With the graphics quality, I can see why it may have issues on older systems or systems that have other issues going on than just age. About all the "but they promised this" or "the cops are just stagnant" comments- to each their own. I'm cool with them choosing to leave a few things out or unfinished and add later or just put to the wayside in favor of not forcing devs to work longer hours again and again and again to push something through quickly rather than taking time to do it right. What is released, that I've experienced seems done right.

Buggy but bomb
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m playing this on PS5 and aside from the hourly crash or so, it’s been pretty great. The story is righteous and begs to be followed, but hokey moley are there a lot of side quests, cars, and gear to get. Like Mafia 3, Fallout NV, Skyrim and Blade Runner mashup. I say 4 stars for what it will be in January/February when those updates drop (textures leave ALOT to be desired) and show me what’s what with CDPR and ps5.

CyBeRpUnK 4 the Ps4
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanna watch the anime but don’t want to be a poser? Obviously the solution is going down to your local Best Buy and grabbing a sweet new copy of Cyberpunk for the PS4 and catch up on the lore so you can meme with all your friends. Playing the game before watching the show gives you +1000 respect and +1000 swagg

Decent on ps5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I’m having a pretty decent experience due to recent updates but the constant crashing and mission glitches are very unfortunate. It looks pretty good on the ps5 if you adjust the settings and have a 4K tv. But this game still needs a lot of work done to it. Besides that the gameplay is great and the story/side quests are intriguing. I was disappointed that each life path is pretty much the same except for some dialogue and the start of each life path. This game should not have been released when it was. I would say this game needed 1 more year a development time.

It needs more updates
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 falls short of its promise. While the futuristic setting and intricate storyline are captivating, the game suffers from significant technical issues. Frequent crashes, low frame rates, and visual glitches hinder the overall experience. The graphics, once stunning, are noticeably downgraded. Despite its potential, Cyberpunk 2077 fails to deliver a polished and enjoyable gameplay on the PS4 platform.

Glitched but Wonderful
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is incredibly buggy and glitchy. However, the story (especially the side quests) are so thoughtful and nuanced that it's hard to not like this game. I felt immersed even when the glitches would do something that could easily take away the immersion. The writing allows you to connect easily with the main NPCs and their stories. Loved the (endings) as well. On my second playthrough now.

Fun but with flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Play exclusively on PS5. Fun game. A bit of a learning curve but once you get in to it it’s fun. It’s open like GTA but isn’t played the same. More focus on the role playing aspect. Does have its issues. Main one that I encounter on PS5 is that it will boot me out of the game on occasion. I save more often. More of an inconvenience. On the next gen consoles it isn’t bad at all.

Good, yes. Buggy, yes.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Is it buggy, yes. Do textures not load sometimes, yes. Does it all affect gameplay, sometimes. Is the story good, hell yea. This game is great, it's just not in an amazing state right now. If you can just deal with the bugs like I do you'll really enjoy this game. Lots of possibilities when it comes to your build/playstyle. Will say the game becomes more buggy when you leave Watson.
