Customers are saying

Customers highly value Cyberpunk 2077's captivating story and immersive open world. However, many reports cite significant issues with game performance, including glitches and crashes. The game's artificial intelligence also received criticism. While some found the price reasonable, the technical problems overshadowed other positive aspects for a significant portion of players.

Great game. It plays very good on the ps5. I love the story, the only reason I’m not giving this game 5 stars is because it does have a few bugs, other than that I’m really enjoying this game so far.

The game play and story line is pretty good. But there is to much bugs and the updates are making it worse. I was anticipating to play this game for almost two years. The game was delayed few times, yet it is incomplete. I hope CD project red is able to undo the damage and bring more content.

Yes the game has bugs and glitches, but if you have a Ps5 I recommend you playing it, so far I've enjoyed the game, But if you have a Ps4 wait for CDPR to push out updates to make the game better

Now, most bugs and glitches are fixed for PS5. Cannot comment on PS4, but game is nice to get lost in and story is pretty entertaining.

Game has been incredibly "glitchy" on my PS$, but a friend who was able to get the PS5, tells me that has "very few" glitches. Story is great, and looks fantastic when it's running at its best.

Cool open world game. Works better on next gen consoles so if you want to play it with not as many bad bugs on current gen I would wait to play it on next gen consoles.

Despite the fact that everyone has given this game the failure stamp, I still enjoy playing it. I play on a PS4 Pro, nothing special, and it runs fine. Yes, I see an occasional glitch and NO it does not mess with submersion. However, the game has bugs that they seem to be fixing. The graphics could use some fixing and some of the story writing is silly. The game is not flawless, but I think it runs well enough on my current gen that I can honestly say I like Cyberpunk 2077 and I think it’s here to stay. I’ve already seen at least 3 patches and I expect it’ll run perfectly fine by spring 2021. Hopefully we can explore possible dlc and multiplayer at that point. Who knows.

I purchase the PS4 version and regret it. The game is laden with bugs and performance issues. Luckily the PS4 purchase comes with access to PS5 free upgrade. I completely stopped playing until the bugs and issues are fixed.

Amazing storyline and game in my opinion. I’m docking it one star due to the bugs the game currently has. Until cd project red fixes them with an update all I can give it is a 4star review

Title says it best, buggy buggy game. Im currently playing this on the PS5 and the game is gorgeous even without the ps5 upgrade. Its a shame that the bugs in this game even with all the updated patches hasn't come no where near close to being playable for most people and I don't blame them especially on the ps4 and xbox one consoles. However I gamed through multiple crashes and I mean lots of it, but I still find myself going back to night city and exploring and enjoying my time with this potentially great game. I would recommend only if you have a ps5 or xbox series s or x and even then I would say wait for another couple of months until more patches are out.

Disclaimer!!! I bought this game while it was on sale for $10! I honestly wouldn't have purchased it if it wasn't on sale. I waited almost 6 years for Cyberpunk to come out being a huge Witcher fan and was severely disappointed by the amount of game breaking bugs that it had at launch which made me return the game (digitally). Patches have since then come out making the game almost completely playable and it feels great! Free upgrade to PS5 digital edition and came with stickers/map/ postcards all for $10. I'm still a little mad at CD Projekt Red but I'm thankful that they're trying to fix their broken game

This game is great. Fantastic story and compelling gameplay. All those people complaining that it runs poorly on a base ps4 or Xbox one had 8 years to upgrade to a pro or One X. CDPR already posted recommended consoles and specs before the game released. If you have a base ps4 or Xbox one you might want to upgrade or it won't play well. Any other console or PC can run it fine with few bugs or glitches. Constant patches keep it fresh too. Characyers are compelling and the story movies very well. Good voice acting and some emotional parts too.

Played on both PS4 Pro, PS5, and Stadia. Games story, visuals, gameplay are pretty good on PS5 in PS4 backwards compatibility mode, but AI and immersion in the world was greatly exaggerated. The NPCs are just dumb. Plays like a futuristic, and prettier, Grand Theft Auto 5, but with worse AI, and immersion. Game is barely playable on PS4 full of bugs, glitches, crashes, resolution dipping, very low FPS, and graphic pop ins. PS5 it is much more playable in performance, and graphics in pS4 backwards compatibility mode, but still get random crashes, and bugs/glitches. If you got a PS4\Pro just wait for the Game of the Year Edition, or rereleased Collection Edition when it will be fixed, and have included DLC. If you have a PS5 get it, and just save often. Stadia version is the best most stable version so far I've played so far, and recommend if you have 50mbs or greater internet speeds. I really hope CD Project Red make up for this horribly forced release.

I like it. It does crash, I figure they will fix it. They spent the better part of the last decade to make it. Story is good. Graphics when they are not glitching great. I've had it pre-ordered since first available. (Feels like 2 years) - I've gotten into habit of quick saving. Crashing at most in-opertunistic times. Can't play with kids around at all. (Graphic/language/violence) sometimes that's all a gaming adult needs though :) Again 5 stars for effort. Once updated hopefully 5 for game play. (Playing on a pro) not sure about a slim.

Played the game on PS5 so not as much bugs as there would be on the older consoles. Though the game crashed many times during the first couple of weeks which was very annoying but not as much now. I thought the story was enjoyable and the gameplay offered different ways to play.

Is this a perfect game? No. Is it then”next Gen” experience we were promised? No. That aside, it IS a really fun game. The visuals are stunning. (Lighting and textures especially) the story is pretty well done. Voice acting hits highest highs but some lowest lows. The core gameplay is solid, despite the mediocre physics. My advice? If you’re running this on a HDD of any kind, a PS4, PS4 Pro, or on an external HDD on PS5... STOP. Upgrade to a SSD as soon as possible. Internal or external. This game relies heavily on resource and texture streaming from storage, and an old 5400rpm HDD simply can’t get the job done.
