Filled with bugs, but overall very good. Night City is huge, and very explorable. Gunplay is solid. Story is excellent.

Good game. Game got patched and has improved drastically from release

This is a tough review for a lot of reasons. Cyberpunk 2077 is at its core a solid open-world action-shooter RPG on Next-gen. If you have a XBX or PS4 Pro it may be okay, but definitely avoid with base Xbone or PS4. Even on Next-gen it has bugs and can crash. But so did Witcher 3. It’s main story is compelling but unlike Wild Hunt it lacks those meaningful side quests. All of them feel very pedestrian at the outset. Then there is the whole garbage decisions around create a character.

Despite all the bugs and crashes, the time I had in night city was great. Immersive story, just wish there was more.

Cyberpunk 2077 manifests a strong foundation of lore, storytelling, music, aesthetic and massive potential for CD Projekt Red. However, it is brought down by the horrendous series of bugs, glitches, lack of refinement and so forth (most prominently on previous-gen consoles). Like the situation with the launch of The Witcher 3, within the first half of next year, I hope that this game receives the optimization it so desperately needs in order to fulfill at least part of its expectations and exaggerated hype. Until then, it can only be recommended for those that were able to get a next-gen console or have a sufficiently powerful gaming computer. I personally have only had minor issues.

Is the game perfect? No. Is the game as bad as people on the internet make it out to be? No. The main story was interesting and was worth finishing. I liked some of the side missions but did not enjoy the repetitive missions they placed all over the map in order to artificially extend the length of the game. I did encounter some bugs, but did not feel they were anymore severe than the ones you find in other games( I am looking at you Bugthesda).

Played today and glitches within 15 minutes of playing. I am playing the ps4 version on ps5. There was much expected from this game but it was also way to ambitious. I dont like playing games that have this many glitches because it breaks the immersion. Cars going through walls, cell phones floating in the air, tons of pop in and graphics not rendering. Plus most of the characters in the environment don't move their mouths when speaking to you. Its still unfinished and thats why all of what i mentioned is happening. Waiting for the next major patch this week to maybe try it again. On the bright side, at least I'll get the ps5 version when it comes out hopefully this year.

Been playing on PS5 looks impressive and runs at solid framerates on next gen hardware. Occasional crashing gets frustrating at times but in my experience all my pS5 games have had crashing issues. Overall very happy with the purchase and wishing everyone on ps4 and xb1 can experience this as it should be soon. On PS5 it is an exceptional game with next generation story and interactivity

So I'm actually planning on my PlayStation 5 so I haven't run into too many issues but after the patches came out for both the PlayStation 5 and PS4 I haven't run into many crashes so I'm glitches here and there but that's a given but honestly the storytelling really makes this game so much more worth it there's so much story driven narratives in this game it doesn't even really need to be explained it needs to be experienced the combat is great and the driving is okay.

This game has tons of bugs but is so much fun to play. Great characters. Great story. They can patch the bugs later

Let me preface this by saying I was lucky enough to get a ps5 so my review is for that console. The game had some issues when it first came out with it crashing but since the update came out, it has been an amazing experience. I bags never played a game with a world as vast as this one with an endless amount of things to do. The main story is a bit short but you have so many other side quest that I haven't even started on those. Would definitely buy if you have a ps5.

It is a decent game, but it is not in the same ballpark in quality as CD Projekt Red's previous game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Cyperpunk 2077 has undoubtedly improved over the past months but it is still a far cry from what people were expecting from such talented developers. Would recommend to play on a PS5 if you tamper your expectations and maybe for those who have a PS4 Pro but not for those that still have the vanilla PS4.

I had the PC version and now this PS4/PS5. It $10 can't bet the price and update fixed many bugs.

This game changed my life. I would recommend it to anyone. The gameplay is solid The customization is top-notch and I love the weapon options. This is way better than GTA. I am in love.

An okay game with an insurmountable list of bugs. I want to love this game. The world is dark, gritty, and somewhat nice to look at. The protagonist is one dimensional and bland. The supporting cast is interesting but suffer the same inconsistencies that the protagonist suffers from. The egregious glaring issue here is the bugs. I found myself consistently starting to enjoy the game and would be plagued by crashes or geometry bugs or outright game breaking issues that required a full restart. Definitely beware. This game is not finished and will not be for some time. Also, I played this on PS5. Please avoid if you plan on buying and playing on a standard ps4

Have not played enough to give it a proper rating but from my research and what I have heard, if you own a ps4 and intend on playing this on last gen DO NOT EVEN BOTHER. Buggy and last gen just does not give a good enough experience. Should never have been released on those consoles. If you have next gen or a PC with optimal hardware I would give it a try on those systems but yeah stay far far far away if you have a ps4 or xbox one.

Emjoying my time with the game. A few glitches here and there and the AI could use some tweaking

The game did not live up the hype in playability sense. The world design was incredible but the functionality of the game itself, left much to be desired. The devs are making patches, but this should have stayed on the development aim and level for the “previous gen” PS4/ XBOX One consoles as it was originally intended for and then later focused on these next gen consoles play status. Oh well. The Steelbook was a cool collector bonus at least.

I have a ps4 pro I did experience some bug and glitches but still have fun and enjoy the story in the game.

Pretty good storyline, enjoyed going around the city doing missions and learning about the world of cyberpunk.
