Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the impressive graphics and compelling story as major strengths of Cyberpunk 2077. Many also appreciate the immersive open world, especially when the game is purchased at a discounted price. However, a significant number of users report encountering bugs, and some express concerns about the artificial intelligence and driving mechanics. Improvements in these areas would enhance the overall player experience.

Played on Xbox Series X in 2022
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this for up $5. For the Price, I can't complain too much. I waited until the next gen patch was released to play this. I encountered a few glitches and bugs but nothing game breaking. With that being said, the game is great. My only complaint is the main story felt short which is a shame. You get the impression a lot content was cut. Definitely recommend doing the side quests to get a more fulfilling experience.

Cyberpunk'd 2077
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thank heavens I'm playing on an Xbox One X. Still last gen, I suppose you could consider it mid-gen? While I know Cyberpunk 2077 runs much better on next-gen that shouldn't be the case for a game in development for 8 years for the Xbox One and PS4. They should have known early on that it was not going to happen. I had my doubt, but have also seen developers work magic before. Most recently on my game of 2020 Ghost of Tsushima. Not only was GOT a graphic marvel and had combat as smooth as silk, but the load times were also nonexistent, which is unheard of. Rumor has it they had to artificially add time so players could read the tips. So miracles can happen, but CD Projekt Red really messed up here, biting off way more than they could chew and neglecting 80% of gamers still running current-gen hardware. On my Xbox One X, there are a few texture pop-ins, some lag, and some NPS T posing for no reason, but I can look past that. What I can't look beyond are the crashes. Cyberpunk 2077 has crashed more times than a Windows 2000 PC trying to run two programs at once. So why give it 4-stars, why not 1? The game itself and the technical marvels that do function. If it wasn't for the crashes I'd never stop playing. It's such a beautifully realized world that I can't look away. Night City lives and breathes like no other game word before. The hustle and bustle, the dark alleys, the crosswalks, the food vendors, the flying cars, the advertising, the everything! Of course this thing doesn't run smoothly on current-gen, I'm surprised it runs at all. When the graphics hold up they are stunning, and for the most part on Xbox One X they hold up really well. The gameplay is great, like a high-level Deus-Ex. Shooting is great, hand-to-hand combat surprisingly well done, tech skills like scanning, hacking, etc are wonderfully integrated. You really have to think on your feet when entering dangerous situations and how you handle them has an impact on the game world and story. I've barely scratched the surface of Cyberpunk 2077 and I know it will just get better and better, especially so as the developers work on patches for current-gen. Whether you get it now and hope for the best or wait until it's a better experience, you won't be disappointed in the gaming experience.

Fun on new hardware
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this game, quite a lot actually. The storyline, while a little obvious is engaging. The sprawling options and build system will put it into the not for everyone category but I love having this much choice. There are characters in here you're going to love, some your going to want to kill. Bugs: There are some here it's true. Characters half in and half out of walls in the tutorial mission, which was terribly scripted. Oh and having an NPC follow me through sections of the story that they had no place being in was a bit weird.

Bugs aplenty but patches will come

Wait for updates
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off the story and acting is just top notch oh my God. Personally I suggest you hold off until the developers have patched it a bit more and hopefully reworked the ai. There are still buys and it doesn't run well on base ps4 or xbox one consoles. I would still recommend it if you have newer consoles and are itching to play a gritty open world game.

Buggy currently, could be great
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is still very buggy as of Dec 2020. But with that being said this game is beautiful. More of a FPS than RPG. Has great potential.

Good but not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a fun and entertaining game, but it felt very unpolished. There were some problems with glitching and the main story was rather short, maybe 20 hours tops? I guess I was hoping for more with all the hype, but it wasn't a bad game. Also the 2 other paths after the first one feel pretty similar so I didn't get that same excitement to play it again.

Getting better with time.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can look past all the bugs that are slowly but surely getting patched out, this is a solid open world RPG.

Decent game but needs a hard polish
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gameplay overall has me hooked every cutscene and the decision that you make can ultimately affect the storyline. Just had the game almost a month now, there has been updates here in there but still the game glitches or even crashes here and there (on the Xbox Series X) Overall, great game but needs a hard polish on certain aspects in the game.
