I ended up getting it during a daily deal or something, so it was pretty cheap and also came with a steel book case. I first played it on X1X and then finally found a XSX and played it on that with the next gen patch released back in Feb. Overall the game played fine for me on both systems with the patches installed.

Big warning however, you should only plan to purchase this game for newer systems only. I'm thinking only PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC very high end. Stay away from older consoles and hardware for sure. It can be buggy but from what others have said but I only ran into the visual glitches only. Clipping and pop in sometimes :D

This game shouldn't have been released until midsummer 2021. There's not enough patches to fix this game, I hope it was worth it for CD Project Red. It's not an RPG with decisions that have consequences, It's a linear story-driven game in an open world.

However, the game overall is great and definitely worth playing eventually. I would just hold off purchasing it until it improves more after more patches and by then it will be on sale. Hold off if you can!

Trust me I was highly disappointed after the gameplay demo and trailers, but it shows why you shouldn’t get things day one

So taking those into account, for which I haven't experienced too many, I really have enjoyed this game. It's not GTA and that was not what I was expecting. I didn't really know what this game would be like, but the story is compelling, the graphics are pretty awesome (Series X), and I catch myself wanting to complete that next story or side mission even when it's time to hit the sheets. I would recommend this game.
