Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the impressive graphics and compelling story as major strengths of Cyberpunk 2077. Many also appreciate the immersive open world, especially when the game is purchased at a discounted price. However, a significant number of users report encountering bugs, and some express concerns about the artificial intelligence and driving mechanics. Improvements in these areas would enhance the overall player experience.

I think the bugs that people have mentioned are already pretty well known. So taking those into account, for which I haven't experienced too many, I really have enjoyed this game. It's not GTA and that was not what I was expecting. I didn't really know what this game would be like, but the story is compelling, the graphics are pretty awesome (Series X), and I catch myself wanting to complete that next story or side mission even when it's time to hit the sheets. I would recommend this game.

Good game can’t wait for multiplayer next year. It gets a little glitchy when there are a lot of AI people charging you.

Unfortunately this game was very buggy when released. I was disappointed in the quality and glitches when I played on day 1. I haven’t come back to the game since release, but I hear it’s been improved. I plan on picking it back up after I get thru some other quality games I’m playing.

Huge potential, but a bit of a let down due to all the bugs and a sense the game wasn't fully finished for release. Several months later, it's in a pretty good state, how it should have been at first launch, but still room for improvements.

Ok by now you know of the controversy surrounding this game. The bugs and glitches are bad. Some do affect gameplay and progression. The story and world building are fantastic though. I suggest waiting until all the patches and updates are out before playing.

I mostly got the Xbox One version because the Xbox One X runs the game at 4K. Cyberpunk doesn't look good at lower resolutions. The main problems with the Xbox version is the framerate, but not as bad as the base console versions. There is also the glitches and bugs, but all in all I've been enjoying the game.

Ok so there are some bugs, especially if you are not on the next gen consoles but it is still playable and it’s great! It’s like Sleeping Dogs meets GTA but based in the future. The problem with the game is they built it for next gen consoles but still could have used at least another 6 months before they released it but give them time, they are putting updates out regularly. I’d buy again!

I found this game to be super fun. I know there were a lot of bugs, and I had a few hiccups, but overall, it was a clever story, with a lot of fun objectives. It's probably only going to get better as they release more patches, but the main storyline was definitely worth the price of admission, in my opinion. I tried to like the Witcher 3, but just couldn't get through it. I played this every day for 2 months, until I beat the main storyline. Lot of fun.

Cyberpunk 2.0.2.0. Tabletop RPG Brought to LIFE

The storytelling and immersion is very well done, with a depth that will be appreciated with folks that like to take their time to savor their gameplay. This captures the vibe that William Gibson and the other cyberpunk authors from back in the day imagined of our dark future, as well as the more recent tabletop RPG of the same name. I'm playing on Xbox One and not next generation and have had no noticeable issues. I did watch some videos regarding settings for optimal experiences on console and followed the advice. There are some elements in the game that feel unfinished, like sneaking and stealing, which is a favorite of RPG's like Elder Scrolls. I expect those will be refined down the road, so for now its a free for all and you can steal in plain sight it seems thus far. There's also none of that accidental bumping into someone like in GTA V and having the cops called on you, but you can intentionally upset people if that's your thing. All in all very enjoyable and just plain fun, some of the best hacking 'mini-games' I've experienced in these sorts of games.
