Wait till updates, barely 1080p graphics & glitchy

I’m talking worse than 1080p (HD quality) and barely being able to handle 30fps. If you have a newer console it handles frame rates a bit better if you put it into performance mode, but graphics look like a ps2 game. It has tons of bugs and glitches that still haven’t been fixed yet. This game should not have been released as it was nowhere near ready for production. If you don’t mind the underperforming graphics and occasional bugs/glitches then this game could be for you, but if you want a really good gaming experience then I would recommend to wait till they release an update next year.

It is extremely ambitious so I can see it eventually being better. Worth trying it for yourself if you are into RPGs (not GTA). Even on Series X, it has issues with freezing, clipping, and random physics. Hopefully the Series X optimization comes soon.

This game is clearly ambitious, even if it is another shooter/RPG. It's true that the launch is shaky, with some pretty obvious issues in some places. I've witnessed many bugs, most are humorous, some have made me have to reload, but none have prevented enjoyment or progress. Playing on a Series X, it looks amazing, though older consoles, and possibly even the PS5 seem to have more issues according to people online.

But in early 2022, CD Projekt Red will release the current gen version (Series X) along with a slew of bug fixes and improvements. Current owners will get the update for free.
