    They work with my google home as they are supposed to, however only one bulb turns to the color requested while the other remains white. They both turned colors one time only, so I know they both have the function.

      We are sorry to hear your bulbs are not performing as intended. If one of your lights is not responding to color control we recommend factory resetting them using these steps: Start with the light off for at least 5 seconds. Turn on for 8 seconds. Turn off for 2 seconds. Repeat this process 5 more times, or until the light bulb flashes. If the issue persists please contact us at 1-844-302-2943. -Cync Support Team

    Garbage light and even more trash app support. Constant disconnect. Go with something. Save yourself money. This is after months on usage. Always inconsistent. Go with another brand

    You are buying a paper weight that lights up

    Do NOT buy these bulbs. I try my best to refrain from negative reviews, but these bulbs are horrible. More specifically, the network service. You are dependent on the GE servers operating to be able to use your bulbs as intended. Multiple times now Alexa can not communicate with the bulbs. I go directly to the C by GE app and all of my lights are "unresponsive". Next I get logged out of the C by GE app. When I try to log back in I am told that my request can not be processed. Paying customers should not have to rely on GE to have their equipment working to be able to use their light bulbs.

    I was able to connect them to my phone ONCE! I changed my router tried connecting the bulbs unable to connect. Tried the resetting steps NO LUCK!

    I previously purchased a set of these bulbs and they work just fine, but these would not pair/be recognized by the GE app. They ended up being useless and sit in a box in my garage. Wasted money...

    The app updated and suddenly the lights don't work, huge disappointment and waste of money. I was hoping these would be a good replacement for Hue, but clearly they are not.

    Don’t know where to start and don’t really even wanna think about it… connecting is the easy part… losing it is the problem. Don’t flip your switch or wake up in the morning… lol

    This system works from time to time. However, I keep getting a message saying, "unable to change the color" with different bulbs. This can be a headache because I sometimes can't change the colors back to white lights.

    6 months and half of them don't work

    Had them 6 months. They've constantly disconnected and now 4 out of my 6 lights will not connect to Google home. C by ge app never connects and the customer service is poor and uninformed.

    I really wanna love these bulbs but for some reason it keeps disconnecting from my google home. Even in the app i cant turn the light off it just isn’t responding

    very difficult to connect. had to connect 1st bulb, then 2nd, only 1st was recognized. forced to disconnect and try again and again. finally gave up. easier alternative (I think) smart plugs.

    Bought these lights to add a bit of pizazz to my daughter's room. Had no problem connecting to the C by GE app. However, when i went through the process of connecting to Alexa. Alexa informed me that no new devices had been detected . About 25 min later the bulb appeared in my device list....never had that happen before when connecting over 50 smart devices in my home. Then 2 days after connecting, the bulb started to randomly flash on and off...when I tried to control with Alexa, I had no luck...."device not found"...based on these issues I can't recommend this device....the kicker, I did not do my initial set up until 1 day after the return window ended. So I am S O L.

    They work as a regular lightbulb but the app to make them work remotely isnt operable and no other way that I've found will make them work either, very disappointed !

    Changed out all lights with these. They were on sale for a great price. Although they dont work very well with alexa and when changing colors some just dont want to change.

    Maybe my unit is just defective but the lightbulbs require an unreal strength on the wifi end in order to even be able to control the bulbs and their rgb capabilities / brightness tuning via smart device... and my wi-fi isn't even weak on every other device within the household.

    These lights would bot connect to the app at all we tried everything to get them to connect and they just wouldnt and the kids destroyed the box so couldnt return them

    These are by far the worst brand for smart bulbs. Really sad because GE is a good brand with appliances, but I’ve had these as gifts twice and everytime I have to take them back. They just aren’t reliable, don’t all turn off/change colors, they do everything that you don’t want them to do. Do not buy these. I have wiz smart bulbs which are 2 for $25. That’s the lowest you should pay for lights. These at 4 for $30ish - you get what you pay for: crap
