    Lights work well if you only have a few but if you have more than 10 they sometimes work intermittently with Alexa

    Might be for you if you don’t plan on using Alexa. Got these on sale not knowing what to expect. The Cync app is generally pretty good but pairing with Alexa brings problems. It often takes Alexa two or three requests before the light bulb actually turns on. Likely would not buy this brand again simply because of the software issues in conjunction with Alexa. Will say, they last a long time though.

We recommend disabling and enabling the Cync skill in the Alexa app. This will cause the app to rediscover your devices.     App forcing location permission was a deal breaker

    I never tested the function of the lights, so I'm giving a benefit-of-doubt three star rating. I purchased three sets of two for my home. When I downloaded the app and tried to use, it would not let me go further until I allowed location permissions. My privacy is important to me, so I contacted GE customer service. I was told that GE does not allow the app to be used outside of the US, and the location permission is to verify that it is not. That made zero sense to me, and I don't like being forced to give information that I didn't agree to give when I purchased the product. I returned all three sets.

    worked great out of box, google home, as a stand alone device when i tried to integrate multiple devices in google home it became difficult to operate them. i had to do multiple factory resets and ultimately had to use the app. so now i have three apps running multiple devices in google home. overall nice functionality as a bulb.

    Easy setup, good color selection and they work as advertised in the Google Home app. The only issue is that Google Home does not support "Scenes" functionality without pairing them with the C by GE app and then linking the app into Google Home. Hopefully, Google will fully integrate scene support in a future version of the Home app.

    I like these lights a lot but they often get disconnected from my app and i have to re do the entire set up again, other than that no issues.

    Won't connect to Google

    I can get it to change colors in the C by GE app. But I cannot get it to connect to the Google app, so I cannot control it on-off by voice.

    These color-changing bulbs are cool...when you can get them to connect to the wi-fi. The connectivity is fickle at best. But they work as light bulbs either way.
