    Great bulbs but not without issues

    Great bulbs if wanting to try smart bulbs. Only issue is that one of my bulbs started to flicker a lot and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Not all the time but it is annoying. My bulbs firmware is up to date too

      This is definitely not the expected behavior of the device, and we regret that you are experiencing this. If you are still having issues we recommend factory resetting the bulb using these steps: Start with the light off for at least 5 seconds. Turn on for 8 seconds. Turn off for 2 seconds. Repeat this process 5 more times, or until the light flashes. If the factory reset yields no results please contact us at 1-844-302-2943. -Cync Support Team

    For some reason they fail to connect to my goggle home randomly thru out the day.. i have reset them multiple times and it still occurs. not a fan of them being inconsistent.

    I purchased these for my mother thinking I'd be able to get something similar to what Philips has to offer with its Hue line of products without needing a hub. Unfortunately, out the box they can't do much. Only change colors and brightness. It's possible that they might be able to do more with the addition of a hub... But I'm not certain which one they'd be compatible with. Even the Philips equivalent of this product has more features with the inclusion of animations and color routines. Since these things will last for the next 6 or 7 years, make sure you're making the right decision before purchasing them.

      Cync Direct Connect Full Color bulbs are able to be controlled via the Cync App from inside your home and outside of your home. In the App you can adjust brightness, color and set automations for specific times for the lights to turn 'On' and 'Off'- on their own. Additionally, these lights are compatible with the Google Home App and Amazon Alexa where you may use a corresponding voice assistant for touch free management. All devices labeled 'Direct Connect' do not require a hub of any kind.     Really fun device when it works. I have been having connectivity issues where the bulbs will disconnect from my Google account and I have to re-pair them.

    While the bulbs work great with 'Google Nest Home' products, I could not get the GE "C" Android App to connect via WiFi or Blue Tooth, nor could I get them to work with Amazon Alexa on my 'Fire' tablet.
