    These are really good led lights. I buy them whenever they are on sale.

    App forcing location permission was a deal breaker

    I never tested the function of the lights, so I'm giving a benefit-of-doubt three star rating. I purchased three sets of two for my home. When I downloaded the app and tried to use, it would not let me go further until I allowed location permissions. My privacy is important to me, so I contacted GE customer service. I was told that GE does not allow the app to be used outside of the US, and the location permission is to verify that it is not. That made zero sense to me, and I don't like being forced to give information that I didn't agree to give when I purchased the product. I returned all three sets.

    Light Bulbs...that's all

    These color-changing bulbs are cool...when you can get them to connect to the wi-fi. The connectivity is fickle at best. But they work as light bulbs either way.

    trying new color changing lights

    Decent color changing lights for the price. I already had hue lights, so my expectations were already high. All in all they are decent quality lights for the price

    Long lasting easy install.

    These light bulbs are pretty good and have not caused me any issues I have probably used one of them for over 100 hours straight and then another one for about 48 hours they don't have any issues that I'm aware of the software took some getting used to.

    For the most part they are good. Once and a while they decide not to work. I'm not sure if its the google hub that has the issue or the bulbs. A quick power cycle to the hub and they are back online.

    Easy to use, but not potent enough, would need another pack to make the colors really pop up.

    Finnicky with both Google Home and Amazon Alexa. We had to call support to get the lamps reset and reconnected since the normal reset procedures didn't work. Chat support was prompt and helpful.

    Installation of the bulbs went smoothly. Configure via the App Cync app was not successful but was able to configure via Alexa.

    I am constantly having to log back into the app from my phone (google pixel 5), but when it works, its fun changing the colors to suit my needs.

    Can’t connect bulbs to the GE app

    The light works fine as far as just being a regular light bulb. I was not able to get it fully connected to the app. I just connected Sylvannia color-changing bulbs via the Sylvannia app in the Android App Store, and they work perfectly. I followed the directions for the GE app, and everything works fine up until the last connection step. I may try through the Apple app, and see if this makes a difference, but I’m really disappointed in the GE bulbs.

    Awesome color controled led lights with timer

    Awesome bundle email deal when I bought smart tv, I put these outside on exterior lights to change for the holidays and set to turn off/on at specific times. Perfect for the holidays and regular white when it’s no holidays around. NOT the brightest but work for me.

    Purchase these to go with the light strip. The bulbs are good. I can't say how good they are compared to others as this is my first smart bulb. So far I'm happy with them. The app has enough settings to where I feel it's extremely customizable to what you need.
