    These bulbs are good but the setup took a long time. And if you have to reset the light bulbs it can be really challenging. But overall once I got them set up they've been working perfectly fine.

    Great smart light bulb. Works great with my Google assistant. I can change the color I want and schedule the time to turn them on and off.

    It does the job. However I think the software between GE and Google Home need some tweaking, for some reason the lights become disconnected from Google when I use the GE app

    Mobile application could be better.

    Had some issues to setup account through the app. I was getting error that account could not be created although it was. After some trouble with setting the account they are working fine.

    This product asks for a hub when clearly it says in the box that NO HUB REQUIRED. Really disappointed, I really wanted this product . Have to look somewhere else. Had to return the product .

      Hi Cyndi on your other review of the smart light starter pack with 4 bulbs and a smart plug, the plug is the hub that you need.     Looks good, app will grab a lot of data

    Ok, I did not light these up. I read the privacy info on what data was collected, and they were grabbing a lot more data they what they needed to operate an TCPIP based device. Enough so I didn't even want to load the app on my phone. I have decades of IT experience, so know what is needed to run a device like this. If you don't care about what companies know about you, seems to be a good device. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Pity.

      Security is of utmost importance to us here at 'Cync'. Our Team does not have access to any data on your phone. We require bluetooth and Wi-Fi be enabled upon setup, so that the device can connect to your local network and function as a 'Smart Device'. Camera, microphone etc can all be turned 'Off' in your phone's app settings. Though, even when 'enabled', we still do not have the capability to see any of your personal information.     Bad App(le) or a Rotten Bunch?

    Once upon a time these bulbs worked pretty well. Then about three months ago they launched a new app and the bulbs won't connect to the app anymore. I've tried doing a factory reset a couple dozen times to no avail. The good news is, they turn on when I flip the light switch. The bad news is that I can't control the brightness or the color/hue, I can't automate them, and they randomly flicker on/off.

      Hi Stiiv, sorry to hear that you had this experience with the release of our new app! All of your devices and settings from the previous app should have been migrated over. You may have to connect to the home location that you had previously in order to see your devices under go to settings, switch home > check for other locations.     worked for all of maybe 3 days. Can't get it to connect anymore. might as well be regular light bulbs

    The install was a absolute nightmare and having to reset them will have you longing to return them. When they do work it’s not too bad at all.

    Could not get them to connect to the app

    I could not get these to work. I tried everything I could, but they would never connect to the app. I had to return them.

    Bought a two pack and the set up was brutal. I had to call GE tech-support which was awesome however Please shut up was awful. I would never buy again. They don’t work and play well with Google. A little better with Alexa. If you r Foolish enough to buy them like I did set them up in the cync spp before you try connecting with Alexa or Google

    I wouldn't buy more. Sometimes when i tell alexa to change something with the light. Alexa will time out and say theres a connection issue. And then the light changes. Sometimes it just doesn't want to work at all. The colors are subpar compared to my lifx bulbs, of which those i would recommend. Please save your money and dont buy these.

    There are better ones than these. They kept losing connection to Alexa which is frustrating. Will not be buying these again.

    These are extremely difficult to connect. One of the the bulbs had a problem pairing with my WiFi and it eventually disappeared from the Cync app. Now it needs to be reset, which has an Extremely convoluted process. I give these bulbs a big thumbs down!
