    Light works well but if you want it to work with Alexa you have to buy a separate hub. I got voodooed.

    C by GE app is very poor and difficult to use. Philips Hue is much better product.

    They would not work in my light fixtures without buying an adapter.

      Sorry you had to purchase an adapter to use these lights. Normally that is not necessary unless you h ave a wattage issue with your switch that needs to be corrected with a bulb adapter. -C by GE Support

    Useless without a GE Hub. They don’t tell you that when you buy it.

I just wanted to clarify that the Direct Connect bulbs have a built in hub so you do not need to purchase one unless you are using the Bluetooth smart bulbs which need a GE Hub to communicate with Google Home or Alexa. i hope this helps!     Ultimate Value Full Color Light Bulbs

    The product does exactly what it is intended to do and despite being a little complex and tedious to set up, but it is definitely worthwhile as the result is great. As advertised, millions of colors to choose from the app and is compatible with Google Home. These work perfectly to modernize any existing light bulbs in a home and can truly change the mood and set a different atmosphere when using them. I would 100% recommend these if they are on sale because at a regular price of $50, it's not that great value. However, at a discount price of $25, it's the best combination of value and quality that exists compared to C by GE's competitors.

    These are feature packed. Use small electricity

    These lights are awesome. They do it require special Alexa hub or Google nest or anything. Although I use an Alexa echo. An old 50 dollar one. Makes like so easy. Before I leave I set a thing where all the lights go out when my phone leaves my house. They go above and beyond my expectations. I knew they can change into any color and any shade of that color. I also knew that you can use 10 different shades of white. Bright white. All the way dow to sunrise and sunset. I like sunset cus it makes everything seem warm.

    Outrageous! I cannot believe how many colors and hues are available to set up in the lightbulb via the Google Home app. Easy set up. Great price. If you buy the warranty for a relatively low price Best Buy will replace the bulb in the event anything goes wrong or simply through regular use. Steal! Where else can you find an ambient light in magenta or deep indigo blue?

    Almost perfect !!!

    As a basic smart bulb, it does a good and decent job and so close to being perfect. Full color range is great. Ability to schedule light, dim, change color is also great, especially when you are able to control these function through alexa or google assistant . The only one flaw that is missing and kind of a major is "light effect" Not a lot of people care about this, but the standard RGB these days comes with the ability to custom light effect or preset light effects such as full color fading, strobe, flash with even fast or slow speed, or maybe even light react to the sound of music or video game and such. Hopefully GE will release a new firmware that added these standard effect in the bulb so that it truly creating an immersive light experience. Something that Philips hue been doing since day one. 800 lumens is ok for bed room, but for living room, I would love to see a version that is over 1500 lumens.

    Its fine not the best

    The colors are very pretty and pigmented. And i like the options from cool to candle light. But The app doesn’t want to sync up with the bulbs a lot and im standing there refreshing the app trying to turn the lights on or off which is annoying. Also, the scheduling does not work! I have it specifically set to where it turns on at 6pm but instead its turns them off if they’re already on.

    My god, I have never faced so much frustration with such a simple product. Before I bought this atrocity, I had a Merkury brand smart bulb. It had it's problems but that was only once in awhile, so it was tolerable. Eventually the bulb wouldn't connect anymore so I headed over to my best buy. These were the only cheap bulbs amongst the decrepit aisles. As soon as I walked out of those doors and saw the horrendous reviews for the app, I knew immediately I was going to be in for a good time. As of writing this review, the app is permanently stuck on the splash screen and no amount of reinstalling and cache clearing will fix it because THIS APP IS AN ENGINEERING DISASTER. MY GOD THIS APP NEEDS TO BE RECONSTRUCTED FROM THE GROUND UP. GOD HELP THE ENGINEERING TEAM BEHIND THE APP. No amount of updates WILL EVER FIX THIS ATROCIOUS, HORRENDOUS DISASTER. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SANITY. I will be promptly returning this horrific product and opt for a different brand with actual good reviews when I can.

    Stops working, awful reset procedures.

    The colors are bright and the integration with Google Home is good…when it works. The reset process is cumbersome and complicated. The lightbulbs regularly stop working and require a reset. Older bulbs won’t work even with firmware updates. Overall, an absolute waste of money.

    Complete Garbage!

    Complete garbage. I bought a pack of these for our living room to link up with our Google Home, and although the initial set up was easy, the light bulbs lose connectivity DAILY!! Anytime I ask Google to turn off the lights it doesn’t work. The ones in our bedroom are the same. I tried resetting the bulbs to factory default multiple times (don’t even get me started on that process… on for 8 secs, off for 2 secs… repeat 50 times) only for them to not connect at all. Completely regret buying these overpriced pieces of junk. At the time I bought them they were $50+, explains why the price is now only in the teens. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand.

    Connected Once, then never connected again

    Bought these wanting some smart bulbs too go with my new Nest Hub Pro. They connected fine first time around. Then i turned them off from the hub; they lost connection and never connected again. Went through all the troubleshooting guides, factory reset, took them out and tried putting them in different light fixtures. They never connected again.

    I can't get it to connect it says I need to factory reset it. And I did and it didn't work

      Sorry to hear you were not able to get it connected after a reset. Make sure when you are connecting these to select Direct Connect instead of bluetooth. It should prompt you to setup your wifi network which will need to be a 2.4ghz wifi network for this to pair.     Bad bulbs, bad app, bad parent company

    The devices will randomly disconnect, and have to be reset, the app from GE is horrendous, lacks functionality and has no custom support thats useful. Go with phillips hue or geeni and dont waste your time with any GE product
