They are much brighter than anticipated, but thats fine because i can adjust their brightness level. I can also change them to whatever colors i want. I have several in my living room, back yard, and bedrooms. Its nicer than an LED strip because it causes ambient light without having multiple bright diodes to look at. Strongly recommend getting a ton of these.

Even my mother uses it well.

Got one bulb for myself and one bulb for my mother. She's a little older but the c by ge software is relatively easy to use in terms of switching lighting. She would not be able to set it up by herself. It's easy for her to switch from bright white to soft white lighting for her reading use though.

The app that you use with these is however very unexceptional almost useless. They are very cool when hooked up to Alexa though. I have not yet compared them to other bulbs but imho they could be a tad bit brighter other then that they are very cool.

I’ve slowly added more and more of these lights to my house and now I’d hate to go back to having to get up to turn a light on or off.

So they work with Google and you can turn on your lights when your away from home using Google Home app on your phone . just link these and your good to go, In a hurry , just say Hey Google turn everything off and boom... everything is off .. love it !!

You can customize them to any color you want and control them through the app. Recently, I have noticed that one light switches to a yellow-ish color on its own despite being set to a "cool" sunlight color. It is odd that this is happening but it only occurs for a few minutes then switches to the correct color I have selected. Other than that, I would purchase these again.
