Doesn't work with some light sources

I have two lamps in my room, one a standard lamp on my nightstand and desk lamp with a movable arm on my desk. I tried the first bulb on my night stand and was happy with the result so I finaly bought the second bulb to put in my desk lamp only to be disappointed that it doesn't seem to turn on. I tested it in my nightstand lamp and it works fine and I also tested the first bulb from my nightstand in my desk lamp and that on didn't work as well. So from process of elimination I have found that these bulbs do not like my desk lamp for some reason which is disappointing because I wanted to unify my room under one system.

Sooooo amazing! I love them!

Luckily they are back working again. The different theme light shows offered are so cool and being able to schedule them at different times really help me keep to a routine especially wind down time and bedtime. They are a game changer and I'm replacing all the bulbs in my house with these...slowly.
