Good alternative to Hue, but still needs work

However, they are way more difficult to set up and get running. Also, the app is very counterintuitive.

Okay but don't always work properly.

Letdown!

Smart light bulb

50% Defect Rate

One is still working fine actually. The other does not stay on, and blinks all the time and won't consistently change color and loses connection. To be fair, I have had several different brands of bluetooth lightbulbs that periodically need reconnected. This is new tech, so I guess I should have expected this. The lights are great when connected, but every once in a while, you have to go through the pain in the butt setup process again just to get a light to go on.

Ok, could be brighter.

Cync refuses to stay synced

The GE Cync bulbs lose synchronization with my home system every other week or so. I have to disconnect the lights and reconnect them from scratch every time it does this. As of now I have had no issues with my Philips Hue bulbs. I also purchased a GE Cync light switch so we shall see if the bulbs are the issue of GE Cync as a whole.
