    These lights are REALLY cool. I set them up to turn on automatically everyday when it starts to get dark out. You can use traditional colors or set them to any color you'd like.

    I regret purchasing these lights and would definitely return them if I could. The bulbs themselves are fine but unfortunately you HAVE to use the cync software to control them and there in lies the problem. The scheduling/routine functionality does not work and lights will not turn on or off as they are supposed to. On top of that lights will randomly turn on when they are not scheduled or commanded to do so. I have tried numerous times to delete and recreate schedules and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the lights and the software with no success. All firmware and software is up to date. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT BUY!!

    The bulb worked ok at first but quickly went down hill. I set an automation for a specific warmth and dimness and the evening, and soon the automation started making the light change to a different color every night. I deleted the automation but it never stopped changing to blue every night. The GE app is just OK, and frequently struggled to pair with my light. After 7 months of use the light stopped working completely.

      Hi Scotty, sorry to hear that you had this experience! All of your devices and settings from the previous app should have been migrated over. You may have to connect to the home location that you had previously in order to see your devices under go to settings, switch home > check for other locations.     This product asks for a hub when clearly it says in the box that NO HUB REQUIRED. Really disappointed, I really wanted this product . Have to look somewhere else. Had to return the product .

      Hi Cyndi on your other review of the smart light starter pack with 4 bulbs and a smart plug, the plug is the hub that you need.     Had some issues to setup account through the app. I was getting error that account could not be created although it was. After some trouble with setting the account they are working fine.
