The D-Line small cord organizer can be useful for tidying up and reducing clutter. At ~10.5” internal usable length and just over ~4.5” tall, it’s enough to hold a small surge protector and tall enough to hold plugs of large size inside it. The white plastic is shiny and sturdy enough to survive some accidental kicks or drops. It has two larger openings on the back sides for power cords or larger cords, and in the middle a hole for the cords to exit. The top also has ventilation holes for heat to escape. The top snaps on and off and is kept in place with small clips on the unit. The white can blend in, depending on your setup, in the open along floorboards etc, or you may just hide it under a desk. Plenty of room for a small 4-6 plug surge protector and large power adapters. Everything can be centralized to the container. It seems durable enough to hold all of the items and changing power connectors as needed. Simple and works. Plenty of holes to guide wiring out of the box and to where you need it. Works as intended.

Innovative Cable Management Solution Is Spot On!

D-Line USA Inc. is a company based in Louisville, KY, founded in 2005, that designs the newest innovative cable management products. Made famous for Cable Raceway, D-Line also offers Cable Protectors, Cable Organizers, Cable Accessories, New Cable Shelf, and their latest: Cable Organizer Box. The D-Line Small Cable Organizer Box is an attractive, curved container designed to eliminate wire clutter. Located in my home office, it is so intuitive to set up: first place a 6-Outlet Strip in the box. The smart design becomes immediately obvious, as vertical slots are perfectly placed at both ends. This allows any 6-Outlet Strip to fit flush at the bottom center of the box, with the power cord able to exit either end. A generous sized curved opening is located halfway between the 2 vertical slots. This allows for numerous power cables, HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, even Christmas Tree light cords to exit the box in an organized manner. The D-Line Small Cable Organizer Box measures 12.75" L x 5" W x 4.5" H & is offered in black or white. A larger Organizer Box is available, but this small box accommodated my needs perfectly, taking up a minimum of floor space. CONCLUSION: The D-Line Small Cable Organizer Box is a brilliantly engineered solution to wire clutter & earns my highest recommendation.

    Great Storage for Power Strips

I live in an old house with old outlets, so I use surge strips just about everywhere because their plugs are strong enough to stay on and not wobble off. Organizing the cables connected to the surge protector has been my next project as I only had one box prior to this one but wanted to find a better one for the rest of the house’s cord messes. This D-Line cord organizer box is perfect! It is sleek, has holes that allow the electrical heat to escape, and the lid clicks on tight. I used it for a small extension strip in my kids’ room as that was my first priority. It immediately made their room look tidier and now there is less to worry about because the strip isn’t just out in the open posing a safety hazard. My box did come with some odd grime imprinted inside it. It was perfectly packaged and seemed brand new, so I surmise it must be residue it acquired from the factory, but I did find it unappealing. It cleaned off easily with a disinfecting wipe at least. The box has large holes on both sides plus a really large one on the side for cords to come out of and to help easily pop off the lid. It is deep for tall plugs to fit adequately inside. Overall, I like the quality of this box and will be looking into D-Line’s other cord organization products as I can see they have a lot to offer and my tech heavy household could benefit from this.

A Neat Way to Hide the Clutter

Like me, you probably have a few rat’s nests of cords in your home. Perhaps there’s one on your desk behind your computer, or behind your TV, or on the floor under your desk. It’s inevitable that a power strip ends up with a mess of adapters and wires that not only look ugly, but gather dust bunnies that are tough to deal with. This D-Line box is simple in concept and elegant in design. It is intended to contain and hide those rat’s nests of cables. Inside, there’s ample room for a power strip that’s up to 11” long (not included), plus all of the adapters and wires that will plug into it. The back left and right corners are open for wires to come and go as they please, and there’s a shallower opening in the top back for more cables. The bottom is completely sealed up to about 1” off the floor/table so any spills will remain outside of the box. The lid fits snugly and snaps on tightly, but is easy enough to remove if you need to get access to anything inside. There are also ventilation holes in an attractive pattern on the top to ensure that anything inside doesn’t overheat. That’s about it. Sure, it’s just a box, but it’s nicely-designed and easily hides away and organizes some of the mess that’s probably lurking in your home as it was mine.

    Clean and Efficient Cable Management

A clean and efficient way to clean up the unsightly mess of cables that you have lying around. The D-LINE box makes it easy to clean up the mess created by power strips and all the devices plugged into them. It's smartly designed and blends in with decor very easily. I imagine I will be adding a few more of these to our house to hide all the various places that we're using power strips to extend our outlets. I have some powered recliners in my couch and separate recliner that require multiple outlets, so a power strip was the natural choice to power them. However, this always means keeping a power strip out on the hardwood floor and I've never been happy with having it seen. Now, the cables and power strip are neatly tucked into the D-LINE box and out of sight. I will likely replace the white power strip that I have with a black one to make it even less noticeable on our hardwood floors. The box is easy to setup, as you can imagine. You simply pop the top off, place your power strip and adapters inside and feed the cables out the sides of it. If you're looking for a clean cable management box, this is easy to recommend.

Didn’t realize I needed this D-Line cable management tool. This item was a great addition for my work area. I had space for my feet to sit around, but I knew i was still cluttered, so I was still subconsciously making sure my feet didn’t hit plugs or get tangled in wires, which could lead my feet with yanking something out. It can handle most outlet plugs and thanks to the openings, it makes it easier to stretch cords around. For my space, the cords I have are thicker than some average, so I could not put the top cover/lid on, but that is ok because it gave me more room to plug more items. With some cable ties and this product combine, u cannot go wrong with a cleaner and organized look for your office area or entertainment center. Not too much of a negative but even with the openings for the cords that I mentioned earlier, the longer outlets will not sit straight but it will not hinder the purpose of the cable organizer. The color blends in well and it also doesn’t take up space. Feels good to stretch my legs now and not worry lol

Excellent For Cord and Cable Concealment

The main benefit of this product is to conceal a surge protector and power adapters from view. If you have an area of your home where concealing cables is a priority, then the box will be perfect for that application. The dimensions of the box is 12.75 inches long by 5 inches wide by 4.5 inches high. The interior of the box will accommodate a surge protector that is up to 11 inches long. If your surge protector is longer or wider than this size box will not work for you. The box has a stylish curved design that will blend nicely into most decors. So instead of having a surge protector sitting on the floor or on a cabinet or desk, you will have a nice looking storage box. The box has ventilation slots so the power adapter wont overheat. These rear slots are also used to thread the power cords through. The box lid is secured to the main box by slots. To open the box pull the corner tabs out slightly and push the lid up. The lid is then pushed back in and you will hear the clicks when it is properly reattached. The box is an excellent value and is very useful for its intended application. I will likely buy a few more to use in other areas.

A Nice Solution - If the Size Works for You

The D-Line Small Cord Organizer Box is one of those products that offers an option for solving a perennial problem for tech users - cable spaghetti. I’ve got unsightly ‘nests’ made of a variety of power and charging cables in multiple spots throughout my home and office. Past attempts to solve the problem by thinking through what I need at a particular location and carefully placing the cables with various cable covers, guides, holders, etc. have just not worked for me. The simple reason is that I can never think through every use scenario and inevitably end up changing the arrangement - and, voilá, the mess reappears. The D-Line Small Cord Organizer Box gives you a light, clean, tech-style box to minimize the mess. It is designed to hold a power strip (11”) and whatever chargers and power cords you plug into it. The box has openings of various sizes for the cords to enter and/or exit the box. I had a small ‘nest’ of cords behind my recliner and used this to organize them. I definitely like the improved look (see pictures). The key caveat I would mention is that the box is limited in size so I’m unsure how it would handle a larger collection of cords. It’s also slightly shorter than I’d like (4.5”), which made it necessary for me to turn the power strip on it’s size in order to accommodate my full-sized Mac laptop power charger. It would be good if D—Line offered a larger version as well. All-in-all, it’s a nice solution - if the size works for you.

Works exactly as described. Perfect for holding a standard surge strip and the associated cabling that comes with plugging in multiple power cords. I have a surge strip in my family room right up against a cabinet that supplies power to a security camera, a LCD display, and one of my powered satellites for the surround sound system. It’s right where anyone walking by can see it, and it has been an eyesore for quite a while. The D-Line cable organizer box was my attempt to hide the surge strip and power cords out of the way. I took some before and after pictures. Long story short, the organizer solved my problem. I was able to place my surge strip and cords inside of it and place it up against the cabinet and the area looks much better. There are a couple of cutouts in the box to route the cables, and the box is vented in case you have some wall warts or power supplies that get warm. It’s made out of a lightweight but durable plastic, the lid snaps into place, and all in all it is an effective way of organizing cords and keeping things looking clean.

It's a simple product, basically just a plastic box with some holes... But sometimes that's all you need to clean up that rats nest of wires under you desk, or behind your entertainment center. The hardest part of this was figuring out the best location for it. I have lots of places that are a mess of wires, but I quickly realized that most of my power strips wouldn't fit in the box. I also wanted to avoid putting large power bricks in the box. It does have some holes in the top, but too many heat producing power bricks I could see still not getting enough airflow, depending how tightly you pack the box. But I suppose if you're clever enough, it really wouldn't be too hard to cut the box up a bit more and maybe put in a tiny PC fan powered by USB. Only other gotcha is that it is just light plastic. So heavier wires will definitely want to pull the box around, and there is no way to secure it in place. But, the lid just pops off, so it's easy to mess around with the wires to get things just right and pop the lid back on. Once your done, enjoy your tidied up wires.

My office desk is a mess of cables and I hate it. Sadly even this would not help. However, we have our T.V. on the wall and plugged into the surge protector, along with the space cooler, sound bar, lamp, and extra phone charger. A big white surge protector on our dark wood table with our black sound bar. Enter the Cable Tidy Unit! I finally figured it out and now… I have a quiet (blends right in) stately looking thing on the table that I can actually put something on- like a table accessory, that is functional. I have a complaint about this. A typical surge protector the plug cable straight out of the end, but the box is off centered. I had a difficult time wriggling the stiff cord at the angle and snap the lid covering. But I got it and it looks great! Included in the package was an ad from the manufacturer, D-Line. I realized I got the medium, and there are many different types of ways to cover ugly cable runs- I may be able to make my desk look a little more presentable!

    Cord Protection

Cord protection and organization was not something I generally thought much about until relatively recently when I brought a small, teething puppy into my home. Honestly I had no idea that there was a product like this, but as soon as I saw it I figured it was worth giving a shot. First up, I feel I should cover something regarding my particular situation for others who may be looking to protect their pets from chewing on a cord that might end up hurting them: that is definitely not the intended use case. The material is reasonably sturdy but certainly vulnerable to being chewed on, and a smart dog would not have much difficulty prying the top off. That said they are not going to be able to do so quietly, and just getting the cables out of site has greatly reduced the amount of interest the puppy has shown in them, so I'm still considering it a success. Moving on to what it's actually intended for, namely hiding unsightly rats' nests of wiring, I would say it does the job, but not much more than that. Getting everything into the box required a few tries, particularly with the large wall warts which were somewhat easily dislodged as excess wire was fed in. Because this is just an empty box to stuff things in. If you want to further organize the wiring (which I would recommend, particularly if you want the vents at the top for airflow to do their work or plug anything else into the power strip in the future) you will need to provide your own spools, cable ties, and other accessories.

A stylish, simple solution to wire clutter

I’m a gadget guy. My house is littered with smart speakers, smart displays and too many laptops, plus the usual connected appliances. With all those gadgets come plenty of power strips, some also smart! That’s where the cord organizer from D-Line comes in; to hide all those ugly connections. This cord organizer model from D-Line is the small model, in black color. It has a modern look with rounded edges and is made of hard plastic. Absolutely no set-up required. The cover is easy to remove, and there are three large slots to run the cables. Measuring about 12.5 inches long and 5 inches wide, it fits easily everywhere, even on a desk. For me, the small size is the only complaint that I have. Most of my power strips don’t fit, and the big ones are the ones with the most wires. D-Line has a bigger model that I will certainly check out. However, on my work desk at home, I keep three laptops and I was able to easily conceal their bulky power adapters into the box, placing them on top of each other, which removed a good chunk of the clutter. In conclusion, the D-Line small cord organizer box delivers on its promise to instantly improve the look of cluttered cable and power strips, as long as the power strips are under 11 inches long and 4 inches wide. It’s also good at hiding laptop power adapters. On top of its ability to hide tangled webs of wires and cables, Its simplicity, modern look and sturdy construction make it a worthwhile investment.

The D-Line organizer box for cables can certainly help organize your space or conceal an unsightly power strip hub, you just have to find the right power strip and cables to organize. I suggest this ‘small’ organizer box for a power strip that you don’t often switch up what’s plugged in because the idea is that you cover the power strip with all the connectors and you “set it and forget it”. The winning organized area: I ended up putting this box in my office where my printer, computer, monitors, and router are plugged into a power strip. This strip is not often changed so it was the ideal spot to use the organizer box. I anticipate I won’t have to give this area much thought from here on out, unless I want to plug something else in, which won’t be vert often. The areas where the box didn’t work: - In all honesty, I wanted to use this box on a different desk for a power strip I have on top of the desk. It doesn’t look very nice as-is so I wanted to organize the area, but I found that some of my connections were too tall and the box wouldn’t close. Not just that, but I realized I often change what’s getting plugged in, so it was going to be a hassle to keep taking the top off every time I wanted to plug something different in, which would have been as often as a few times a week. - I then tried to use it on a power strip placed on the ground that had plenty of things plugged in, but one of the plug boxes was hanging off the end of the power strip about half an inch, so it ended up not fitting in the box at all. - I tried an area where I have some vacuum battery chargers plugged in which could really use some work, but the way I use this power strip is that I only turn it on when necessary and I didn’t want to have to take the top off every time I wanted to use the power strip. Cons The conditions had to be just right and I had to be very thoughtful of where I was using this organizer box. The D-Line organizer box arrived shrink-wrapped, but some of the creases inside the box were dirty. I had to really wipe it with a wet wipe and I felt like I shouldn’t have had to clean a dirty item that I assumed arrived new. Overall The plastic on this D-Line organizer box is sturdy and the lid snaps on tightly. If you’re looking for a box to stash your unsightly power strip and cables, this might be the solution you’re looking for, but you also might have to wrestle the cables into the box depending on how much you’re trying to conceal. I ended up using this box in a place I didn’t originally intend, but I’m satisfied I found a place for it in the end.

Hides cable messes well. I will say that a power strip + all the cords is a bit of a tight fit, but it works. Would say this is for longer term solutions where you don't have to access the power strip often.

The D-Line Small Cord Organizer Boxer hides all the cords that you plug into your small outlet. It matched the computer that I have next to it. I was able to plug in about six cords with the particular outlet that I used. I plugged in my air purifier, a charger for my cell phone, my labtop cord, a fan cord, a tablet cord, and printer cord. Your able to wipe it down with a cloth if needed when dusting and it doesn't appear that dust will accumulate inside the small whole. We shall see overtime. Additionally, there is a small whole in the back that allows you to hide the cord that goes in the outlet that is in the wall. Overall, nice little storage space. No complaints. I would recommend this product to others as the product seems it has good durability for what it is designed to do. It also keeps the area more clean and less cluttered looking. Pros: Small and Easy To Clean Compact and helps with organization of cords. Easy to Open and Durable For The Task At Hand Clean Design Cons: Currently I have none.

My original plan was to place this box behind my subwoofer to hide a Panamax power strip and some cables that littered the space. Unfortunately, the small box is too small for this purpose. Instead, I chose to use this box to organize the cable nest which lives in my daughter’s bedroom. The D-Line small cord organizer box does a fantastic job with her mess. I also have a cord chewing rabbit that will fry his little fury face off if allowed access to a nest of unsecured cables. First, the box is made up of hard plastic. The box supports a small power strip that fits on the bottom of the box. The cable organizer box is not bespoke for any one kind of power strip. Meaning, do not expect your power strip to simply snap into some holder at the bottom of the box. This is general purpose box that should work with a wide variety of small power strips. I also found that power strips with top facing outlets work well and power strips with side facing outlets do not work at all. You will want the larger of D-Line’s cord organizer box if you have a large power strip or a power strip with side mounted outlets. The organizer box has two openings on the back corners of the box and one along the top rear of the box. I found these well positioned to easily support the power strips power cord. The opening seemed natural enough for the power cord so as not to put any stress on the cord. It also gives me an opportunity to hide the cable between the wall outlet and the wall. The topmost cable route provides ample room to run many cables up and away from the power strip. For my purposes, I had a laptop power supply cable, a fan power cable, and an iPhone charging cable existing from the top. Any heat generated from the power strip or wall warts can easily escape from the box via the cable openings and through a series of vent holes along the top cover. Meaning, I am not worried about anything heating up due to poor air flow. The top cover is removable. It requires some force. You average two-year old should, may, probably will, but don’t count on it, find it difficult to open. It will definitely thwart the efforts of your average thumbless bunny. This also means the box will not fall apart if accidentally kicked, dropped, or poorly handled. The box itself is much nicer to look at than an ugly cable octopus. I can push the box up against the wall and hide the short power cable. And I can run the cables up the wall to the desk where, again, I don’t see them. The only downside to this box is that it is a lint and dust magnet. Other than that, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Next, I’ll probably grab the larger of the two boxes to address my subwoofer cable mess.
