    Would not recommend - it keeps disconnecting and would never show in the app. Always reset the camera and never worked again

    The camera is a good one but the app is not. To many stuff to mess with that don't do nothing. I like how it notifies you when you’re camera is on or off of privacy but doesn’t notifies you when you have movement. I would like them to work on the app and fix the problem

    Total Failure -- not documented - fails to record

    No documentation, just non helpful videos. - Attempt to have multiple DCS-8300LH cameras each record independently failed. Contacted DLink and learned that it is impossible to program them to act separately. It is not possible to force recording for a specific period of time. I have evidence that the cameras did not record motion within the area that should have been recorded. As such, I consider these cameras are a total failure for use as a security system, or use to record the movement of a pet that is having medical problems during the night!
