False economy

Plugged it in and got it online, packed my bags and left town. Turns out I couldn't use its necessary app on my Android, because its OK button for installation fell off the bottom of the unscrollable screen. We used my partner's iPhone instead. Image quality seems marginal. Buyers should be forewarned that to have any video backup in the cloud (almost a prerequisite for a security camera, me thinks) requires a new DLink subscription service (surprise!). Nice vacation anyway, but it was long enough that I can't return this camera or I would. Waste of money for me. My next camera will be pan/tilt/zoomable, will upload to an existing Cloud account, and will undoubtedly cost more.

Would not work in hotel

Would not work due to unprotected internet connection. Might be a good option for home use if you have WiFi.
