Horrible
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hard to work and figure out installation. Even when I called to trouble shoot, I had a hard time with customer service knowing what to do. Camera looks great but the looks were deceiving to me.

Alexa Compatible eh?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sure, seemed compatible for a bit, after an auto update, NOPE! No reason to have these cameras if they no longer work with Alexa. D-Link, get your crap together!!!

Good for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for the price. setup was fairly easy. The app on the other hand needs some work. Not user friendly and not intuitive. app does favor WiFi over cellular. cellular crawls and WiFi has a few second delay.

Watching Everything Now
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works perfect so far. If you put the cameras in the right spot you will be able to pan to the left and the right to see everything. The sound is awesome too. Being able to talk to people at home through the camera is a plus too. The only thing needs to be improved is when you playback the video, you can only hear the recorded person on the video....not the other voice of the person talking through the camera from another location.

Good camera(s) for monitoring
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our 4th set of cameras in 1 month. We were in need of pan/tilt/zoom cameras to monitor our elderly father while we are at work. Bought 2 sets from Amazon (Victure & Morvelli), both were difficult to setup and the apps were horrible. We then bought Arlo cameras , they were great but Arlo does not offer a pan/tilt camera. Wound up rolling the dice with these DLinks. Setup was very easy, great website and easy to use app. We've had them for 2 weeks now and so far they are doing what we need them to do. Pan function is slightly delayed and pixeled. Picture quality is great. I'll review the rating after 6 months or so and update then.

Not an IP Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to be completely stuck in the “mydlink” ecosystem, this is perfect for you, other than a really sluggish app. It’s labeled “IP Camera” in the search options, but it isn’t. You’d think you could plug it into your network, plug it on, and, you know, access it via IP, but no. You need to download an app on your phone, create an account with d-link, and set it up over Bluetooth. There’s no IP stream option, you can only view it through the app. Some people have muscled their way into an “ip” type setup so you can get it on third party devices, but it’s a hassle, and could be killed with firmware update.

Connection problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera to put into my mom’s house so I can check on her. I took it out of the package, read the setup instructions and started the process. The first 5 times I tried to connect it to the WiFi it gave me an error half way through the process. I then hardwired it - same error. I called the support desk - eventually told me the camera was faulty and I should return it - I did and got another one. Same friggin issue so, they told me that it will only connect to 2.4ghz connection. So after an hour on the phone with Xfinity, I split the router so I could connect to the 2.4G - after several attempts - SAME THING. Back to D-link support. Told me I should return again but find one with firmware 1.01 or 1.00 (instead of the FW 1,02 on the one I had) RIGHT - I’m going to go back and forth to a store to buy a product that obviously has not been fully tested on a leading cable system!! Taking it back and buying a different camera.

App sucks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera yesterday, setting it up was easy. I installed the app and loaded it up, app was a little wonky from the beginning but the setup went pretty well. The resolution was pretty good, night vision worked pretty well. The next day I went to work and loaded the app to check up on my new puppy. The app is horrible, it’s laggy, you try to pan and it either doesn’t respond or it responds several seconds later. I tried to turn the sound on so I could hear what was happening, that worked about 2 times out of the 15 times I tried it. I’m returning it tomorrow. A good camera ruined by its software.
