Excellent Support

She was the best! Very patient and knows what she was doing. Took a while to get it working since I have 3 cameras but I thank her in getting me set up all the way.

Clear picture / can hear and speak to family / pet

I'm not very techie so I called the D-Link phone # for assistance. Operator # AR004630 was very helpful and had my camera hooked up wirelessly quickly. She also helped me download the correct app to my iPad and iPhone. She was very knowledgeable. I can even unplug the camera and move it around and it still works wirelessly without having to re set up with the router! That was so great! The picture is very good. I have an iPad 4 and an iPhone 5s and the app works great with my D-Link camera! I love it!

Avoid this particular model
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a DCS-5020L and a DCS-942L and both work as advertised and I highly recommend them. This DCS-2132L just doesn't work well at all. The 720p resolution claim is false. It cannot stream video at 720p. It will send 1 still each second at 720p if you go into the advanced settings but the advanced settings will lock up almost every time you try to use them. Motion detection also doesn't work. It will detect motion and send an email but it won't record anything to the SD card and it won't email any pictures or video. I'm returning this and buying a different model.

Set up is too complicated

I could not get the wifi connection to work, nor would the motion detection feature work. Originally I just wanted something that would pick up motion and record to the internal memory. I felt like it should do this right out of the box. After about an hour of trying, I decided to go through to whole wireless setup just to be sure and even after the d link website said the camera was good to go, I still couldn't get it to record simply based off motion. I finally decided it wasn't worth investing any more time into the setup and repackaged and returned it. Recommend putting out the money for a better camera, or have a professional install something.
