This is a great security camera and can be used with my iPhone.

easy to configure, does the job right as advertised in the features

This camera works very good and the night mode is even better.

I purchased this so that I could keep an eye on my mother, who was (mostly) bed-ridden while on hospice at home. The ease of set-up and use on a smartphone was terrific, and it gave me piece of mind when I was out running short errands. I will use it as a surveillance camera now, to keep an eye on the back part of my house while at work.

I bought this camera to use in the barn during lambing season. The night time view is especially important. It wasn't too hard to install and I love having it to use. Sure beats getting up all night and having to walk to the barn. The sound quality could be better, but it's not essential for my purpose so it doesn't really matter.

It picks up on sound very well! Better than the video cameras

Kind of difficult to set up but once set up works brilliantly.

EASY SET UP LIKED THAT IT COULD MOVE AND TILT. COULD FIGURE OUT IF IT COULD BE MOUNTED UPSIDE DOWN AND IMAGE FLIPPED

Lag was so long that going from one room to the next, looking at my phone's DLink app, I could see myself still in the original room. Facial recognition was impossible even after 38 years of marriage. A thief could see the leds for night vision from across the room. DLinks apps were quirky when trying to pan and tilt. I wish that I could say something nice yet, I would have to make it up.

You can't make many changes in the advanced settings when your not on the same network as the camera. So, if your viewing the camera via mydlink.com trying to adjust the motion detection viewing area your out of luck. My camera sends me an email exactly every 5 minutes claiming motion detection. Tech support has no answer for this. Only that I must be on the same network to make changes. Not much of an answer.

Don't like the fact that you can't record video. It does take still pictures.

Didn't work for what I wanted...wanted to keep inside but look out on my porch, but didn't take any video outside.

This camera exceeded my expectation for our application!

The picture moves slowly when you're adjusting the different angles. The mobile app and ability to view this camera when out of the house as it is streaming is very useful. They need to create a better way to record the picture.

I actually bought two of this model. But am not happy that it has no features to auto detect motion and send the picture and or short video to your computers hard drive or email account. It only sends a text that states a motion was detected time and date etc. Also the Dlink website is not very helpful and when sending email to them about a problem. They do not respond except with a auto generic email that your question was received and being reviewed. Yeah right. I also bought a 3rd camera that has a mini sd card function also by dlink. This camera is more like it for what I need. I will be reviewing that camera at a later date.
