Camera is a piece of cake to set up. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal if you're going the wireless route. You will need a DLink account to access your camera from the mobile apps or a PC. I was pleasantly surprise with how well the camera works in the dark!

The D-Link DCS-5020L was relatively easy to set up. A couple of problems were easily solved using help available on the D-Link site. We use the camera as a kitty-cam to monitor a foster mom cat and her kittens when we're not in the room. Tilt and pan make remote coverage of the entire room possible. After all the kittens are adopted we will move the camera to another room to watch a handicapped kitten.

Am an IT person and was looking mainly for a simple way to keep an eye on home while away. This camera worked perfectly in every way. From setup and mounting to viewing and monitoring with iPhone app, it was easy and reliable.

I highly recommend this camera. It was one of the easiest technical products to setup and use that I've used in a long time. The wizard quickly connects the cam to your router. The iPhone app is great for remote viewing and controlling. Their web app is also excellent and easy to use. The cam is easy to move up/down and right/left with the app or browser. The picture quality is great. The night vision is also good. If you're looking for a cam, this is a great one.

I have this on my counter. I can view my entire apt with it from my phone. I can watch my dog as well if something does happen. It has a night vision view and daytime view and they automatically switch. I would recommend this product to anyone that doesn't want to break the bank and just wants peace of mind while they are away

My biggest problem was information on recording survalleince video, you need a NVR and an external hard drive no where in any instructions is that noted. I thought it recorded to the cloud but didn't know I had to purchase other devices to make it possible to check you cameras

it works perfectly as a baby monitor when set up correctly but with technologically illiterate parents they struggle to get it working at times. Just make sure you remove the notifications for when your baby moves or makes a sound because it picks up the slightest changes such as a fan or a door shutting in the house.

We are really enjoying our new D Link camera. The quality is good, fairly easy to set up, and we may add more cameras. The only negative is that the pan and tilt commands are very slow to, or do not respond. That could be because of our incredibly slow Centurylink Internet.

Didn't realize the box was opened as it was return. Some instruction, but not all in box ... Had to call D-Link twice .. long calls. Finally got it working as advertised. They were very patient with me. As good as it can get. it is good product .. very fair price. Just make sure you get a new/never opened box.

Needed a camera so I could watch over the entrance to the kids' rooms and our main living area while I (try my best to) get some work done on the computer in my upstairs office. This camera has remote access, pan, tilt & zoom features, and installs quickly. My only real complaint deals w/ the clicking of the camera when switching to and from night vision and also for some reason in daylight mode even though no one is actively connected to the camera. All things considered, I think I made a good choice with this IP camera.

I had something stolen off of my porch recently, so setting this camera up in my window has been very beneficial for seeing who comes into my yard. It captures the movement and sends it to my email instantaneously.

This camera was recommended by a Best Buy employee as easy to set up and use. It was on sale. I have already recommended it to my daughters to protect their homes. This has more features that the old camera. It backs up to the cloud. It can be moved up and down, and side to side remotely. I can check it out on my cell phone, which is very handy when we are gone. Another plus is that this camera can be moved from room to room. It can be set up on android phones and iphones.

This camera has a good feature set, most of which works well. However, the motion and sound detection are very subject to false alarms. D-Link has a support forum, and a firmware wishlist has been established. We'll see how well D-Link does addressing the issues.

I think this camera purchase is an excellent choice! Has awesome features like the capability to send you an email when It senses motion or detects sound in its environment. Great for home or business use. And with the easy to use app you can access all the cameras you have set up using your iPhone. And I do believe that it has an app for the people who use android type phones. The night time camera also has excellent picture quality and is surprisingly clear, even in complete darkness! Daytime picture is very clear! Also has good sound. One of my favorite parts of it is that it moves around so you can see where you want to see!

This camera was purchased for home health monitoring. Having owned a more entry level D-Link camera, I felt it was a bit pricy for the features, but of course, compared to the higher end of the market, it is a reasonable price. So far, we have been pleased with the performance and effectiveness.

It's a very good camera pans all over in color and at night you see everything perfect camera for checking on your house or anamals when your away, it set up in about a half hour and I'm slow when it comes to setting these kinds of things up, it's never failed me I'm very happy with it I'm going to get another one to put in the window over looking my yard

This camera was a bit larger than I expected. It looks pretty bad if you use it on the mount, but if it's sitting on a shelf or ledge, it should be fine. Camera functions as desired and I'm able to integrate it with other items (such as the NVR for local storage of video and SmartThings)

This camera is great if your looking in on something or someone. I bought this because my dog was sick. I am able to be at work and log in remotely and see my dog. I can hear clearly and see clearly. I can even move the camera from my phone. My only complaint, you can't talk into it.

I recently purchased this WiFi enabled camera and found the pan/tilt Feature Very Convenient. My only complaint is the lack of clarity when you try to zoom in. I believe the dpi is 480. I would recommend this camera for someone who is mostly focused on securing the area from a distance.

its not a bad camera when your on the same network, meaning in the house with it, but the remote viewing is limited to 5 minutes of viewing and there is about a 7-10 second delay when changing angles. not bad, especially for the price.
