||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It hasn't got any storage capability, and there is know way to add any storage, which we didn't know the person at the store had no idea what they were talking about and told us that it did have storage available to look back and see what happened previously. This not a good security camera only a camera to see who is at your door.

Keep in mind that you are able to record straight to your computer based on schedule/motion. You will need to download the D-View Cam application on www.support.dlink.com. Difficult to work wireless

Tried reading QR barcode which is required to go wireless, but could not with two (2) smartphones and two (2) different tablets. Returned an bought Lorex Technology cameras instead.

The first is if you have a D-Link Cloud Router with an Internet connection, then you may take advantage of Zero Configuration. This feature automatically configures your camera’s settings for you and adds it to your mydlink account automatically. If you do not have a mydlink-enabled cloud router, you can use the Camera Setup Wizard to guide you through the process of adding your camera to the mydlink service. You may download the Setup Wizard from http://www.mydlink.com/support and the Setup Wizard will open, which will guide you step-by-step through the installation process from connecting your hardware to configuring your camera and registering it with your mydlink account. In addition if you ever have any problems with the setup and configuring process you may call D-Link support at 1-877-453-5465 for assistance. Thank you for choosing D-Link.
good camera for home security

Does not function as advertised

Requires information from third party service provider (ISP) to properly set up internet connection for remote monitoring and email notifications. Could not get assistance from technical service whom appeared not to be knowledgable. Could not connect to the camera with the app from my mobile device.

This is due to very poor instructions that tend to leave out steps and poor customer support. Does not work with google chrome or firefox like advertised. After 2 days and 14 hours later with customer service finally got camera to work on IE. Mydlink lite for mobile phones worked until latest update, then took a few days for app to work again. Haven't got all the settings tweaked quite right yet because everything you do is difficult and time consuming. Once camera is up and running works fine for the money. Have a 2nd camera to add to system but am not looking forward to the nightmare of setup after the first one. Would only recommend this product if you have lots of time on your hands to get through the poor instructions and customer service. It requires a lot of patients!!!
