Will not work well on Mac OSX, no two way audio

Immediately ordered the Foscam FI8910W Pan & Tilt IP/Network Camera with Two-Way Audio and Night Vision 2-pack from Amazon for about $20 more than this one camera.

Terrible camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first day I set it up all was great, was able to see my living room nicely. Day 2 it dropped connection once or twice but started working again. Day 3 connection problems got worse, kept freezing. Day 4 could not get any kind of picture at all, when I was able to get a picture it froze and said lost connection try again. After that it was over, never got it working again. All my other items work just fine on my wi fi. Strong signal but camera was a bust . . .took it back! I would not recommend this camera.

That's NOT wireless to me. Also-it says NOTHING about needing a router to plug into until I opened the box. When I picked it up in-store, I asked if it was wireless, and just needed wifi-as in a wifi "puck", which I have. I was told yes-so OBVIOUSLY your people don't know about your products. If I DO purchase from Best Buy again (highly unlikely)-I sure won't depend on the salespeople !

Good for watching babies & pets...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for watching babies & pets... i guess... manual (really can call it a manual) and support site are use less. i have called support on some island several times ... need to call again.. becoming bff's with them. each time i call support the tech takes me a different direction than the last one so no learning the steps.. recording the cam will never happen. guess i need to return it to best buy...

Basically . . . it Sux

It gave me the confidence to purchase another D-Link camera. Both cameras are on the same network, viewed using the mydlink.com website, so it's not a network issue. Wish List - Ability to invert picture, allowing for a ceiling mount.

One of the worst camera systems out there!

But they lose connection all the time, cameras go down ALL the time even though the app shows them to be working fine. Image is blurry and fuzzy, good luck trying to actually recognize anyone.

Please note, that this camera also includes the D-ViewCam software, which adds enhanced features and functionality that helps you create a full surveillance system, available for PC's that are not running MAC operating systems, for up to 32 cameras. With D-ViewCam, you can view multiple cameras at the same time, record video, and set up scheduled and triggered recordings. Please refer to page 35 of the User Manual which instructs you on how to setup the recording of video clips to a FTP server for your convenience. Don't do it

Did not connect to my wifi, needed an app to use camera and did not work correctly with Mac. Stay away. Order the same camera manufacture as your wifi modem manufacture.

Please note that if you are having problems connecting to the cameras, check your firewall settings and your anti-virus software and try disabling them and then re-connecting your cameras. In addition There might be a problem with the network cable. To confirm that the cables are working, PING the address of a known device on the network. If the cabling is OK and your network is reachable, you should receive a reply similar to the following (...bytes = 32 time = 2 ms). Another possible problem may be that the network device such as a hub or switch utilized by the Network Camera is not functioning properly. Please confirm the power for the devices are well connected and functioning properly. If you are using a wireless connection to connect the camera, be aware of the range limitations of the wireless N standard. Most wireless N devices have a maximum indoor range of around 70 meters (230 feet). Also be aware that obstacles such as walls, floors, doors and other solid objects can have an adverse effect on signal range. You may also contact our D-link support for further assistance in troubleshooting the issue further by calling 1-877-453-5465 in order to verify if there are any hardware problems with the cameras. Slow

I have to keep refreshing. The frame rate is terrible. The scene has happened already and it may not even display it on my phone. You do not get what is actually happening at that time.

Would not connect!

Horrible Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Completely absolutely unreliable!!! It's hit or miss if these junk cameras will get a signal. One minute all is good, the next - it can't connect. No support from manufacturer. Absolute waste of money

No good for night

I tried to return it 24 days later and they said I can't even though it doesn't work as stated
