For the long layoff, a little bit of a letdown

I absolutely love their first two CD's, but this doesn't measure up, IMO. There are some goods songs, but overall, I find it lacking and not hard enough. It's not terrible, just nothing to write home about. Failure is easily the best song on this CD. Can see why it was the lead single.

Could have been better...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was really looking forward to this album and the three songs they released prior to it coming out, "Failure', "Angels Fall," and "Defeated," are great. However what happened to the bands signature heaviness? The production and overall mix is horrible on this album. If it weren't for the drums and bass lines I would never know when there were even chord changes.

good, but nothing really new

However, it sounds just like the last 3 Breaking Benjamin albums. There really isn't anything new or special about any of the tracks, so I'm having trouble finding a reason to keep listening to it. If you're absolutely in love with the last few Breaking Benjamin albums and want more of the same, go for it!
