Darksouls 2 is a very different beast. I owned the PS3 version, but decided the higher frame rate and new content would be worth it. And it definitely was. More or less, it's the same game, but things have been changed up so that those who played it before won't have the exact same experience. I really enjoy it, though there is a bug that will constantly break your weapons. Otherwise, great game!

I bought this game when it came out on PS3. I bought this game when it came out on PC. And I bought this game when it finally came out on PS4. Yes, I love Dark Souls. Yes, I've played through this game from front to back over 3 times. Yes, it was totally worth it. It might not be as pretty as the PC version running with mods & graphical enhancements, but it runs at 1080p and at 60 fps constantly. There was only one instance where I noticed frames dropping, & it was an extremely exceptional situation that I pretty much forced myself into. Don't be afraid of the Dark, let yourself fall into its gentle embrace.

DkS2 is often considered the lesser game out of the Souls franchise, but personally, I love it. It's very challenging and this version looks beautiful. Also, this version is way more difficult than the last gen version.

Awesome challenging game with tons of variety and replay value worth the buy even if You own previous version due to extra content highly updated graphics and enemy and item relocation.

If you were a fan of new to the Dark Souls franchise, prepare to die a lot while having tons of new fun. The game looks better than ever with more content and awesome DLC with new enemies. If you liked Bloodborne you'll Dark Souls SOFS

First off, the game looks very stunning. There were many times where I would just watch my character idle because I thought it was a cut scene. The weapons are very fun to use and game play as well. However, there was not enough of what made this game fun. There was a huge lack of it. The game is good, but i only wished it had more game play elements. Would recommend for 20 dollars

Dark souls is a game for real gamers, you can feel frustrated but I enjoy games that are very challenging, I waited to buy the edition with the DLC and on black Friday the price was great

You will die over and over in this game but thats what i love about it.. The difficulty makes this only for the real hardcore gamer

I am a huge Dark Souls fan and although this isn't my favorite game in the series, it's a HUGE improvement of the original Dark Souls 2.

Loved Bloodborne, so decided to give this one a shot when I saw it on sale. So far, it's very fun, albeit a bit complicated. Nice creepy atmosphere and plenty of options on character builds. If you like Bloodborne this is definitely for you.

Somme games are designed to entertain; some games are designed to challenge. This game is designed to make you throw your remote access the room. However, you have never felt better beating a boss - uunless you fall off a cliff immediately after. Not a game for everyone, but hardcore gamers will enjoy it.

Dark Souls II is absolutely fantastic. Being my first console entry into the Souls series I was more than impressed.

Dark Souls II is the standard for the 3rd person action genre and includes all the DLC since release. Excellent value and highly recommended.

Bought this game after playing Bloodborne and I am not disappointed. The boss fights are tough actually everything is pretty tough.

Many games you just steamroll content, this game however you must be careful. Great hard game with lots to do. Do not expect a forgiving game.

This game isn't hard if your patient while playing. Don't give up.
