Excellent! If you’re like me and fairly new to the Dark Souls series, the 3rd installment is a must play!

If you are a fan of the Souls series or even if you're not a fan, this is the game to get to experience Dark Souls. The Fire Fades not only includes the base game but includes 2 DLC packs that are amazing editions to the game. My favorite is The Ringed City DLC which not offers a great challenge to newcomers and veterans alike, but it is full of great bosses, new enemies, and secret locations. The online component to DS3 is often underrated as DS3 has a great PVP system, even in 2018, that will keep you coming back for more. This edition is the ultimate edition to get and you will not regret the purchase.

What Dark Souls 2 should have been

This entry to Souls series is up there with the best of them. The transition in terms of gameplay from Souls to Bloodborne was jarring, however, going from BB to DS3 was smoother than I had expected. The gameplay, at its heart, is what you would expect from a Souls game, but the pacing in combat takes a few queues from Bloodborne with its faster than normal DS combat and seemingly quick transition from strike to strike. The world design is leaps better than DS2 with a feeling that a world was created and not a bunch of individual levels tied together in a mishmash. The world is not as interconnected as DS1 with areas looping around on each other, but that hasn't bothered me much as it reminds, in a sense, of Demon's Souls. Overall, a fantastic game and one any fan of the series should get.

The game honestly isn't as difficult as past games, but that may very well be due to all the experience I've gained leading up to this game. The boss fights, however, are the best in the series, particularly some DLC bosses which are are included in this set. The score is just breathtaking. Overall, a really fun and challenging game. I would still want more but all good things must come to an end. Cheers!

This is a good investment for new players, collectors, and for people that want to be able to play this game years from now without hassle. Your old save file will work if you have the original btw.
This game has top of the line graphics, popular multiplayer, and incredible player vs enemy. This game is not considered easy by some people. I personally thought that bloodborne was less difficult for melee combat because you can dodge faster in bloodborne. Spell casters at a certain point in Dark souls 3 have an advantage in players vs enemy. Spells make Dark souls 3 pretty simple for some players. The PvP community is popular at all levels but levels 80 to 160 seem optimal.
The bosses and areas have a lot of replay value. New game plus offers a boost to the enemies up until around NG+7. The online multiplayer can be fun when helping others get further into the game. The spells are pretty cool looking, and especially the new DLC spells. The DLC weapons and their weapon arts are fun to use and effective as well. This makes the game fun again for experienced players. You have a decent amount of bosses and content with the new DLC. There are new PVP arenas for people interested in player vs player.
The new bosses are aesthetically pleasing and the music is beautifully done. Expect multiple boss phases as usual, and possibly a higher difficulty. The DLC bosses weapons are pretty fun, but the weapons dropped from npcs and found are even better in some cases. The armor sets look awesome.

By the time you get to Dark Souls 3, you may know what you're getting into: these games are difficult, specific, and obtuse. However, they continue to be some of the most rewarding experiences in games. Amazing graphics and atmosphere mixed with dozens of ways to play the game. It's the peak Dark Souls experience.

A game should be somewhat challenging. There are many rpg's out there that the average Joe passes in less than a week. But not this bad boy, not Dark Souls! This game is known to break the streaks of overnight finishers. People have cried at the difficulty of this series, & that's what makes it great. This is great gaming, and if you can hang, your a great gamer to accept the challenge of Dark Souls!

This is a great edition to a great. Dark souls 3 is a challenging, action RPG that is packed with tough enemies, incredible boss fights and memorable locations. The Fire Fades includes not only the base game but also the the docs Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City, both of which add new locations, weapons, enemies and well designed tough bosses. All in all, the fire fades edition is an amazing send off to a spectacular franchise. If you are a dark souls fan and you have not played dark souls 3, definitely recommend you pick this up. You'll love it.

DSIII is one of the most challenging games I have ever played; it's also one of the most beautiful and engaging. The level design is flawless, the lore is fascinating, and the gameplay is addicting. If you like difficult but rewarding games, pick this one up.

The definitive "Game of the year" packaging of a great game with all the DLC included. Everyone is well familiar with the series' reputation by now for being super difficult and unforgiving (and not self explanatory), but as a newcomer to the series (and someone who frustrates easily) I'm really enjoying it. It won't go out of its way to hold your hand and teach you every detail, and because of that you'll feel great when you learn that game mechanic on your own, or beat that boss, and you'll feel actual tension and excitement along the way. For long time gamers it's one of very few experiences that can still give us a real rush these days or a sense of accomplishment. A friend sat with me and watched me fail for hours on end and immediately decided he needed to get in on the action and bought a PS4 just to play it. It's addictive. Don't miss it!

It's very rare that games can leave you with a feeling of frustration coupled with a sense of achievement and still leave you wanting to come back for more. Fromsoftware is great at doing this and I am looking forward to their next title.

Dark souls 3 is one of the very best games I have played in a long time. The level design, enemies and boss fights are all top notch. The graphics also impress and the game runs a (mostly) consistent frame rate.

This game is a masterpiece. I'd highly recommend it. It is hard, like it can be discouraging. However, after you manage to defeat a boss or enemy you've been stuck on for hours, your IQ and EQ both increases.

This is the final game in the Dark Souls trilogy and the Fire Fades edition comes with all the DLC included.
These games are known for being tough as nails and unforgiving but if you keep at it you will break through. The game is tough but fair. Learn your enemies patterns/weaknesses and never give up!
I really love the World and NPCs in all of the Dark Souls games. FromSoftware have found a great formula and pump out amazing games. Also take a look at Sekiro and Bloodborne!

It is a very amazing game!
First off there is NO hand-holding at all, so it's not for casual gamers or those who would give up when things get difficult.
It is a fairly difficult game that takes timing and practice, unless you play online, then you can summon "phantoms" (other players) to pretty much take care of everything for you, and turn the game extremely easy.
The story is amazing if you can pay attention to what certain NPC's tell you, and grasp at the other little straws of information the game gives you.
