Prepare to die over and over again as this amazingly challenging game forces you to think about every part of your game play strategy, down to every last detail. The controls are great, graphics are absolutely beautiful, and the challenge is real, if you're up for it!

I enjoyed Bloodborne, but this was my first time playing a true "Souls" game. I found the combat a bit too slow and repetitive, with over-telegraphed enemy attacks. It's a shame that this memorization game has birthed so many spiteful elitists within the gaming community.

I'm someone who was never interested in demon souls/ dark souls games after trying them as they were a bit too slow and clunky for me. I decided to try bloodborne which I thought was a masterpiece because it was unique, fluid and always left me wanted to play more. I decided to try dark souls 3 and it isn't a bad game to me but it just doesn't have the same appeal as bloodborne. Dark souls 3 was beautiful but doesn't have the atmosphere and interesting lore that bloodborne has and the gameplay mechanics isn't as good. Also, not to mention that the first 5 or so bosses I fought were extremely easy compared to bloodborne. I also thought the gun parrying and transforming weapons was amazing and the change that bloodborne brought to souls series inspired dark souls to change the flow of ds3. To me going from bloodborne to ds3 is like going from a 5 star hotel to a 3 star hotel. A 3 star hotel isn't bad but with a choice, i'd rather stick with the 5

Game requires a lot of patience but is very satisfying
