This iteration of the Souls series combines the faster paced combat of the recent Bloodborne and integrates it into the more traditional game play of Dark Souls 1 and 2. Graphics are top notch as a given. The bosses are as brutal as ever. The rage-quit inducing levels are there just like we expect them. With that said, I can't wait to keep playing it.

Extreme learning curve. Doesn't tread lightly on the skills you should master before attempting to even play the game. Do not take this game as a simple hack and slash. It is punishing until you "git gud"

Fun, challenging, and unforgiving! This is not for the weak of heart, if you love a challenge and don't mind dying over and over again, this games for you!

Enables great customization with all the different classes and weapons available. Pretty high difficultly level with interesting enemy types. Weapons can be a bit generic though, especially compared to Bloodborne.

Wonderful game purchased for a friend who really enjoyed my copy. He loves the game and we have a lot of fun playing the game with each other

I picked this game up solely or the PVP. There is alot of build variety to keep you coming back to this title. The devs continue to support the game with balance patches and updates.

As you've likely heard, this is a challenging game. If you like a challenge, this is a great RPG.

Fun title but it's not for everybody because of its difficulty

If you have patience and a skilled dark souls player, your gonna love Dark Souls 3, it's difficult and satisfying, plenty of bosses to beat and great mechanics. Definitely pick this game up!

Great looking game, been wanting for long time used a gift card. However, it's just too slow, game doesn't react quick enough and it'll be doing moves two-three buttons behind what I pressed.

Graphics are amazing and gameplay is very good. It was a little difficult for me to get into it, but anyone who loves the series would love this game.

This is a phenomenal action rpg. It's got great art style, combat and leveling up. It's Bloodborne with shields answer better magic.

If you enjoy getting killed constantly and love feeling frustrated, then this game is perfect for you. If you want to devote hours and hours developing skills that will serve no useful purpose in your life, then this game is perfect for you. If you want spend months acquiring skills and then spend months going online and telling people to "get gud", then this game is perfect for you. If you want a fun game that you can play for and hour or so a night and enjoy yourself in the process, then this game is not for you. If you enjoy playing PS4 games but aren't a hardcore "gamer" who values PS4 ability over all other, then this game is not for you. Some people will enjoy the incredibly steep learning curve, I suspect that most will not. I certainly did not, but I'm not hardcore player.

Right out the gate, this game will challenge you & must have patience.
