Looks a bit dated despite being a remaster which I took a star off for. I had lag and frame problems playing this docked which led me to become suspicious. If you have a smart TV, be sure to research the settings and adjust them for better performance. For me(Samsung) I had to put it on game mode.

The game is majorly enjoyable more than ever on the switch. I personally like handheld mode. I did find it to have improvements from the 360 days. I am really enjoying reliving the adventure on the switch.

dark souls is an excellent series if you like challenging and rewarding game for your efforts. this is a classic which deserved the upgrade. well done!

Is absolutely right! A very difficult, but very fun game, it is not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for a challenge and want something more difficult for your Switch, this is the way to go.

This game is very challenging. Not too fun at first (you will die a lot) but if you are willing play long enough to get some skills, its can be very fun and rewarding.

This game is hard. I'm not the first to say that, and I won't be the last. Expect some frustration as you play, but when you complete boss battles, it is one of the more rewarding gaming experiences.

Huge story and plenty of weapons and armors to collect. However, try not to use handheld mode to play this game. The control is not friendly enough for handheld mode.

The 1st Dark Souls game is the best. It set the bar for the franchise. To have it on Nintendo Switch is just perfect. It's better than the original release, hence remastered, and it's just as hard!

This is a great port of Dark Souls. I haven’t encountered any issues and I usually play undocked. I love playing co-op and helping other players.

Dark soul fans are already well aware of this excellent game so I don't need to go into that. What I will say is blighttown..in 60fps...in your hands? That is all I need to say for this review.

The Dark Souls series is one has always been enjoyable for me. It's great to play the original again. The portability helps a lot with my travels and I enjoy it immensely like I did years ago.

This is the classic Dark Souls game that we all know and love. Now we can play it anytime, anywhere. I adore this game and now I'd say this version is my preferred way to play.

Got this for my 16yr old son. He wanted a challenge and something that wasn’t easy to play. This game was the right one! Will fristrate you, make you try hard and try again.

Of all the games I wanted to own on switch, Dark Souls made portable is a dream come true. Play it over and over again and #gitgud

I love being able to play this game on the go, Yes it is a hard game but the more time you put into it the easier and rewarding it gets.

Must have for all switch owners. There's nothing more satisfying than being able to slay monsters in my car at work. =)

Hoping that Christmas brings more players, but the delayed release is making it there's really only trolls playing online. But the game is very polished and blighttown is fine.

The best in the series. Compelling and challenging, exploring this world is no simple task. A true test of skill and patience.
