not bad, not good, if you like darksiders, youll like this

Disappointed in the game overall thought it could have been better

Probably one of the biggest disappointments of 2018. The game played and felt fundamentally altered from the core series and other than having characters from the prior 2 entries, felt completely disconnected from the grand narrative of the series. Avoid.

I thought this would be great addition to series but was highly disappointed in many sections of game. Feels rushed, unpolished, dated graphics, bad mechanics, uninspired. No go!

If you like darksiders 1 & 2 just pretend this game doesn’t exist. It looks bad and has a terrible check point system

Not a great game. I would not recommend buying this. I bought it cause it was $10.

I hate it. It’s trying to be like dark souls or something. It just feels off.

This game is more like Dark Souls than Darksiders. I was very disappointed and stopped playing after about 2 hours or so. If you like Dark Souls than you’ll most likely enjoy this game.

Rushed out the door, buggy, poor combat, and eager to go after the Dark Souls crowd by punishing you by wasting your time if you die.

I purchased this for a gamer and it was well received.

My opinion on the long awaited darksiders sequel has a old school feel challenging gameplay with interesting storytelling from fury point of view against the seven deadly sins. My only problem I hope they fix is the camera lock on system when i fighting enemies and boss. But, I am truly happy with my purchase.

This is easily the game of the year, or at least game of the year material. The world is so vibrant and rich. The story branches out giving the player control of where he or she wishes to go. The gameplay is smoothe and feels satisfying whenever you earn another power up. I highly recommend this game.

I loved the first two games in the series, this was completely different. Read RobH's review, he lays out the problems with this game very well. Terrible camera, no loot, healing animation leaves you vulvernable to attack and death, very sparse checkpoints. And the story happens concurrently with the other two games and doesn't add much to the lore.
