||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit was purchased in Plattsburg, NY on the way to PA as my previous one of 6+ years, Bracketron Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad, started to move around. This new unit moved around a lot from the start. It is way too light which was my main concern from the beginning regardless of the rubber like bottom. I put it in my wife's car to have her test it, and she said the same thing, it moves around a lot. Unfortunately I'm not pleased moving my device back in to place of viewing constantly. I'd recommend looking for similar rubberized bottom but having a good amount of weight to hold it in place. I'm re-ordering my original Bracketron Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad as I know that works as I tested originally from a stop to a fast start and hard turns. This one holds regardless of driving style.

The base worked with my Garmin GPS and a generic phone mount. However, in my car it continued to slip and slide on the dash. If you use any product to clean your dash which leaves a residue, this mount is not for you.
