    Geek Squad install dash am with rear camera

    Agent was great in direct installing my dash cam with rear camera quickly, efficiently and giving me instructions on how to use it. Can’t see any of the wiring throughout my truck. Great job.

    Jeff was very useful in educating us in the usage of the dash cam. My biggest issue was that our appointment was at 4 and they did not get started to over an hour and a half later. I don't blame Jeff for that, I think there must have been several call offs since he was the only one there and he was working on multiple cars.

    So far i enjoy my purchase. However my store experience was a different story. I went to one store just browsing when i found my item. I was told the store did not have it and i needwd to go on line and find the item which i did. Then i was told they did not do installation and the associate gave me the locations that do. I wbet to the store and was charged for installation, layer to find out that installation was free. I asked for the manager who then dodge me and would bot come back to speak with me. He sent the sales guy back to address me. Once i stated that i would post it on social media he refunded me. Horrible Service form a top seller in America.

    Installed Dashcam and rear camera. The front plate on my dashcam is missing, I called several times and could get no one. Also, the camera was mounted behind my rearview mirror in a way that I could not access the buttons on the camera, I asked the technician to move it and he told me we'll you really don't need to fu… around with the camera when it's up there. I paid for the install and I want the camera where I can access the features on the camera. Also my rearview camera is not recording and no video from it.

    The technician mounted my dual dashcam cameras in my 21 F150. He had to guess at how the cameras were aimed because I didn't have the app to see the cameras on his cell phone. He did a perfect job in a very short while of mounting the cameras, and when I got home, I found out they were perfectly aimed.

    I would think again before letting Geek Squad ever do work on my car! After explaining that I wanted the dashcam to use parking mode (requires unswitch fuse), and the technician stating that he understood... it turns out that he did not do that... resulting a depleted camera battery that failed to capture a shopping cart dinging my car! The work took an additional hour to complete (was supposed to take only 90 minutes, but an earlier car returned for re-work). In addition, when I decided to move the fuse tap to the correct location... I noted that my lower dash panel was damaged (bent plastic clip) that was caused by the tech's work (I take exceptional care of my vehicle, and have all the appropriate tools).

    I received an email from Best Buy telling me to get there 5 minutes before my 9am appointment. I was even earlier, but they didn’t open the door until 9:01. Then once inside I found out that the installer wasn’t there yet. “They were running late” The installer showed up at 9:07, then proceeded to tell me that the sales person didn’t post the service correctly and they didn’t have enough time slotted and she couldn’t finish everything I needed done. She got my installation finished without another problem, but didn’t do everything I’d paid to have done. I got a refund for my second service but I wanted the work done. I was definitely not impressed with my Best Buy installation!!

    All my vehicles iBring to Best Buy for installation & it is always hooked up to my expectance. A1 so pay that labor fee, well worth it in my professional opinion.!!
