Terrible

Long line to check in, they couldn't find my appointment, couldn't find my item. The appointment started over 45 minutes late. Upon pickup, they couldn't find my keys. Molding left pried open and wires hanging out. In the end, the camera does not function properly. They claimed they had tested it and it was fine, and that it needed some "time to start working." It did not. Now I have to waste my time to return to have it fixed, and I'm worried they will only make it worse. Completely incompetent.

It showed the street more than the cars behind me. I re-positioned it myself not I can see all traffic approaching from behind.

Store doesn't keep track of appts. and therefore cannot tell you why it might have gotten changed. Very slow install, with 1 (one) seat in area to wait. Since BB doesn't have the inventory it once had, we were done (shopping) in just a few minutes. Good luck getting anyone to answer a phone there.

They speak like they are professional but nah...also they damaged my car. If you want to install dash cam with cheap experience, go head and make an appointment. If not, send some little more money to install dash cam with other shop.

Given the wrong instructions by the Sales staff. Installer was late to the appointment. Had to wait two weeks to even get a free slot. Installed unit non functional from the moment I drove away from the bay. Have to bring the car back again so they can try and figure out what they've never seen before.

Camera insulation.

I talked with him about moving the camera from the back to the front of the vehicle, he told me to reschedule an appointment because I didn't tell him ahead of time. He told me that it would be free at no additional charge. The day after the installation the rear camera fell, so I tried contacting geek squad to get them to remount the camera to the front of the car. When I called them (3 times) they hung up on me twice after being on hold for several minutes. My appointment still hasn't been rescheduled

Everything functions, sort of—but that’s not for this review, and nothing has fallen or come apart. I expected some kind of familiarization with the product: how to rotate cams, access menu, how to remove cam from mount, some basics. I didn’t get much at all.

Geek squad completely jerry rigged my dashcam

HE HIMSELF ordered the hardwire kit then repeatedly kept asking where i got it from because it wasn't what was needed. Then installed camera directly behind my rear view mirror so the in cabin recording only shows the back of my camerl...... COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED.

The top of my car is vinyl which now has a scratches on it. Which had to happen during my visit. I have called and left messages and no one has called me back. I would like to file a claim

Can’t get refund for service not performed

I’ve made several calls but cannot get an answer about odd and when I’ll get it. This started after I rescheduled after Best Buy canceled my first appointment, and against my better judgement I rescheduled, then mind and decided to go elsewhere.

The work is sub par & both Morris & his Supervisor are both extremely defensive about the work. Returned because it did not work & the trim was exposing the wiring. I would never come back to Best Buy for auto related work.
