The agent transferred my programs from my laptop to my new computer.He also helped me find certain fiies,and created short cuts for my programs.I would not be able to do this myself.

Took two tries but did finally get all the data from my old desktop to the new desktop and it seems to be all there and in the right place, maybe just a misunderstanding on what I wanted transferred over to the new desktop.

Had trouble with my previous computer last year. The staff were amazing in helping me gather the data from my previous computer and placing it on not only my new computer but also a back up drive.

Geek Squad took photos off 2 laptops that were not functioning and transferred them to another hard drive. Their service was friendly and quick. We have used Geek Squad in the past, and have always felt confident in their knowledge and service.

Geek squad helped me select a new laptop to replace my old laptop, which was on its last toe (not leg)! They were able to transfer all of my data and files to the new laptop in short order. They are the best!

I received my geek squad service in the Best Buy store in Aberdeen NC. I spoke to every Geek squad member over a course of the week it took to resolve all of the issues with my recent purchases and service inquiries AND every one was competent, thorough in clarifying answers to all of my questions plus led me to buy the BEST product to resolve the issues with my computers not the most expensive product. Although I was told that the backup procedure may not be successful, it was and I credit their expertise for that.

I use external hard drives now almost exclusively. The Toshiba Cavio has over the years turned out to be the best one for me. I have a series of them, and most are of the 2TB variety. I find them wonderfully glitch-free and easy to handle. Their ability to self-identify to the next new unit makes them a fast mount, able to move from one box to the next with ease. The fact that they come in so many colors helps me quickly identify their content for the task at hand. Mine are silver, black, white, and red - so far. I use a hard-shell case that easily fits in my pocket if I'm traveling light, or I can pop multiple ones into my backpack if I need to take my whole shop with me. Rather rugged, I've accidentally dropped them from waist-high and have yet to have had a problem. Still, very scary: I don't recommend dropping one!

I've brought my desk top and lap top computers into the store for servicing and have always been satisfied. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Work was completed in a timely manner.

My previous laptop had died and this service was a lifesaver! I bought my new laptop and had them transfer everything over. Took about 24hrs and it was ready. It was great not losing any data even though my motherboard was busted.

The associates were very patient with other rude customers ahead. Seeing them take on people who yell and them keeping their cool at all costs is a testament to the training manager. Good job, guys, and thanks for the cost effeicent advice on my broken hard drive

The Geek Squad team at Lewisville TX did a great job of transferring the hard drive on my old iMac hit by lightening onto my new iMac. I had no power, but they were able to access my hard drive and gave the old drive to me to keep or destroy.

My 6 yrs old Lap top die & Geek Aquad, Use my old Hard drive & loaded it onto my new Lap top computer, I had over 100 pictures & items, I would had lost, if they did not do it...Thanks Geek Aquad. or to me really, Best Buy...

The data backup and transfer was seamless with the Geek Squad. They were finished quickly and now we safely have all our photos and documents on one new laptop.

The Geek squad transferred all my documents from my old computer to my new computer. They managed to do it pretty quickly as I work from home and couldn't work without a computer. They were so helpful and showed me how to find where all my documents were saved as well as how to recover documents from One Drive.
