They did my backup from my old laptop to my new laptop without being able to turn my old laprop on. I was amazed and pleased with the professionalism and speediness of the service I received.

Phase several old computers that I needed the data transfer to the t we o scan disk I purchased and Eric did a great job! He is very knowledgeable and helped. Me out a lot. Very detailed and no issues. Very happy to see my old photos of my daughters many years ago when they were in elementary and middle school and now the are adults. I thought I lost that data / but Eric gave me back what I thought I lost . Memories are priceless! Thank you.

Good idea to back up your thinks when getting your computer worked on. Might cost you some, and you may have to buy a device o store the files on. Better that than loose everything though.

I bought a new external hard drive for work and had my information transferred from old hard drive to new hard drive. Very quick and easy and had all my data transferred with ease.

The rep (Michigan) who performed the set-up of my new laptop and did the transfer of files and data from the old one was outstanding! He was courteous and professional, and very knowledgeable. In addition, he was very patient, which was very important as I am not very “technically savvy”. All-in-all it was a very successful encounter!

Had to transfer hard drives. They were quick and efficient. None of my files were lost. Only thing that didn't transfer were programs - which they made sure I understood before transfer began.

Geek Squad staff has been invaluable to us. As a single parent who lost touch with tech over the last decade or so, I cannot express how helpful it is to be able to have a team so patient when it comes to explaining what issues we may be having with various tech devices. I had a laptop sitting for very long as I put things off and hoped I could figure it out for myself. When all I needed to do was set up an appointment and walk in to learn more about what was actually happening & how I can be more productive with my computer on top of fixing the issue. Thanks guys.

How easy can this be. Very simple and easy. Talk to the staff and your all set and ready to go. then pick up your items the next day. Speedy service and your all set,

I changed cell providers. During the process there were issues with data transferring. I was very afraid of losing text messages and contacts. The Best Buy team was able to correctly secure and transfer all of my old data to my new cell.

Everything on my pc was backed up and ready to be restored onto my fresh desktop. The whole process took only a few days. It was a well worth it service when your pc has crashed or locked up.

Back up data was wonderful but did not include pictures.

I needed my data transferred between computers, and they finished it very quickly. They also reformatted my hard drive and backed up my data as part of the transfer. Great service!

I bought a New MacBook since my old wouldn't support a lot of stuff any more and in service at the store the Geek Squad transfer info from Old Mac to the New on I bought from them. They are the BEST!! Have had Geek Squad for 12 years now, I would recommend them!!!!!!!

The GS did an excellent job with the backup and memory upgrade. ALL data was preserved and very happy with results and was fast!

Easy to set up, Performs what I need just great. Had a HP Photosmart A210 previously, so was looking for another HP. The one is just what I wanted. And got it on sale making it even better

The Geek Squad members were very helpful, and let me know exactly what they were going to try to get my data from the external drive that would no longer connect to my computers. They were up front about the costs of the data transfer and helped me choose a new external drive. They also finished the data transfer much faster than I expected. I will forever be in debt for the fact that they saved several years of travel photos. They will always be my first choice should I encounter any computer problems. Way to go!!!

Overall the Geek Squad transferred my files very nicely. Granted I could of done this on my own. But having to search out files, tagging them, then initiating a transfer in this instance was just more than I wanted to deal with. The difficulty would come from the fact that the files resided on a laptop with a screen or display that was nearly completely dead. The time spent waiting for the transfer to complete is not something they had control over, so I do not knock them for that. I live way to far away to have just left the old laptop and then return after the transfer was completed. So, waiting around was really boring and difficult to endure.
