For what I needed it was pretty simple and quick just to have data transferred, unfortunately I couldnt see my screen so had no choice, I still think its overpriced

I purchased a new laptop and was told that the geek squad could transfer my files from old to new. Might take 1-2 days. I came in at the appointed time, and the Geek guy was not helpful at all, told me I would have to wait 5 days, and he could do nothing. Not even a simple web install for me. I made another appointment and got Kyle in the Bridgewater store. He was amazing, helpful, friendly and checked out two products for me while I waited! Great job Kyle, and Thank you.

This was a no-brainer as I needed files transferred from a wrecked laptop. The service was fast (less than 8 working hours) and the agents knowledgeable. I wish I could have done it myself. It was a bit of a bummer though to stand at the counter when a yet-unarrived customer with an appointment was nowhere around. The female agent did not want to get involved with my issue until the guy with the appointment was helped. I stood there for 20 minutes waiting on someone to help me (lunch hour) and the other dude to show up.....Prioritize people.

Geek Squad was very helpful and knew exactly what needed to be done to my computer. They also kept me informed on the process step by step.

Becky explained what files she was able to capture from our old computer that was not working and transfer to our new computer. She was able to get the old computer partly working again. She is an excellent person . We have gone back 2 additional times to ask more questions and get great answers.

The data backup and transfer was seamless with the Geek Squad. They were finished quickly and now we safely have all our photos and documents on one new laptop.

My laptop crashed and The Geek Squad was able to recover my treasured picture files. I am a "digital immigrant"....that is to say, I did not grow up with computers and have never taken a a computer class. So I have only limited acquired knowledge of operating systems. I can always count on being treated with respect and receiving the highest level of professional service from the Geek Squad. They are thorough and find solutions in a timely matter. They certainly made me happy by saving and transferring hundreds of my photos. The team is also very good in providing helpful advice to keep my data safe in the future. I am a Geek Squad be fan! We have an Apple desktop and a I pad. I felt it was time to go from the I pad to a lap top so we traded in the I pad for store credit and bought a Mac Air. With the purchase of total tech support we were able to have the Geek Squad back up the I pad and advise me on the apps that I had downloaded on my I pad so that the transition from the I Pad to the lap top was smooth. The data backup and transfer was perfect. I am really enjoying the Mac Air.

They were able to transfer everything from my OLD Dell Notepad even though the hard drive was on its last leg. And even finished in a day quicker than scheduled.

Excellent service! I was really worried that after my CPU was hit by lightning that I'd lost ALL of my family's photos and documents I'd digitized for safekeeping. Fortunately, Geek Squad was able to save everything on the hard drive and transfer it all to an external drive where it will be much safer. And, they gave us the old hard drive to keep or destroy while they took the rest of the old CPU since we couldn't use it (or wanted it!) anymore.

They did a great job. Transferred data from old computer to new one and wiped hard drive clean so I could dispose old computer.

After the first data transfer, I was missing some data, but I took my computers back to Geek Squad and a young man, Khan was his first name, did a great job of capturing ALL of my data, ALL of my emails, and showed me how to back-up my system with the Seagate device that I had purchased from Best Buy a few years ago. He was patient, explained what had happened, and was able to find and transfer all the missing data. I have gone through this process multiple times over the past 20+ years and this was the best experience that I have had. Khan, thank you. Patrick

Saved me tons of time - Geek Squad backed up my old pc and transferred files to the new one. I set my appointment when I purchased my new computer. Only frustration is they didn’t tell me I should first set up my new computer at home or there would be an additional charge. :-/ Whole process was completed in the 3 days I was quoted but the online portal never showed any work was being done, just that I had checked in. I was nervous it wouldn’t be completed by my pickup time.

Now, during the COVID-19 shutdown, I bought my laptop on line. As restrictions loosened and the store was able to make appointments, I was able to get a data transfer. The process was easy. I got an appointment and was met outside by a "masked man" who escorted me into the store. There, the employee went through my list of requests and sent me on my way. Easy peasy. I received a call when my laptop was ready for pick-up and Jacob Kagawa reviewed everything with me. Feeling grateful.

I had Greek squad transfer data from old tablet to new one, (which was a Christmas gift) Pleased with the knowledge, service and convenience of an appointment.

Had an 20-year-old Mac desktop and they transferred the data from there to my Mac laptop. It was a challenge but they managed to get it done. I really appreciated the Geek Squad’s patience and kindness to me as they handled my other issues. I also appreciated that they recycled the old desk top because I wouldn’t have known what to do with it. Every young man I dealt with was great!

All the guys and girl at the Geek Squad in Greenville were very professional and efficient. They set up our new laptop installed our software and did the Trent data transfer within a half a day. Once we got back to pick it up, they showed us how to use it and we’re very professional and patient with us.
