Agent took time to make sure to show me issue was resolved. He also made sure I could find my vacked up files, which were consolidated on Onedrive.

when transfer of data was done only 2 of about 18 files were actually transferred--and several files were lost forever. after contacting the geeks they were able to transfer the remaining files OK--1 file that i thought was lost wasnt but still missing 1--however unit is up and running and happy with it--especially compared with the old computer that was in poor condition.

Very satisfied with the Geek Squad staff. They asked me a few questions in the beginning that lasted about 15 mins. The day I picked up my pc they explained to me what has been done and why. They did not do anything with it without my approval. They kept in contact with me the whole time. When I finally got my pc back I am very satisfied with the performance now. It works like it’s brand new again. Will use Geek Squad again for any technical needs and will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I was in a panic when my hard drive crashed. I went in to purchase a new laptop and find out how they could help me. They were able to extract my information off the old laptop and retrieve my files and precious pictures. When I noticed some information was missing, I went back in and they were able to find it and move it onto the new laptop. There was no charge the second time I went in. I was overwhelmed but they made me a believer. Since I didn't have any other backup computer to use, they made the transfer within one day. I am totally grateful for their expertise.

The service was informative since I got all my questions answered, however, due to my particular situation I was not able to get a data backup/transfer completed. They were very knowledgeable about why they couldn't provide the service and I was refunded.

Data transfer went well. Was easy to locate files that were transferred. Everything was done on a timely basis.

It’s an overall good computer for the money. Looks clean and the build quality is nice. It gets noisy and hot. YouTuber “Bob of All Trades” goes over the G14 on a YouTube review “Asus G14 review! Hottest laptop yet!” and covers a fix for the VERY hot cpu. (I did not have a chance to try the fix though because I returned the laptop before seeing that review.) The Ryzen 9 processor is overpowered for the computer. My only problem is there isn’t higher ram options or higher GPU Options. (You can’t upgrade ram. You “can”, but you realistically can’t working in dual channel...) The processor is way more powerful than the rest of the computer. So Considering the 16gb ram and lower powered 2060 you can’t get a more powerful 14” laptop. It handled 3D rendering programs like SketchUp and TwinMotion effortlessly, better then my friends 1080 equipped desktop. So it’s an absolute beast with anything that will be CPU intensive. Best Buy lost one star because the computer actually failed. Completely unresponsive. The failure did seem to be a one-off and Best Buy did Immediately do a full refund. The fun part was having to pay to do a data recovery on their failed product. I didn’t even have the laptop for two weeks before it died. (future reference make sure you back up your data on day one.) Spending $100 for a recovery stung a little in the end.

Hamilton was successfully able to transfer ALL my data from my old laptop to the new purchase!! So delighted. And when I picked it up, that rep (I forget his name) was very helpful. Explained everything to me; helped me understand the new laptop so I could get right to working w/o having to figure things out. I was so appreciative of the knowledge of both the Geek Squad guys. They were superb!!!

I normally don't use geek squad as I do all my own repairs but I was just finishing moving and out of desperation had to use the service to meet a deadline. A task that would take me no more than an hour took two days even though I was literally the first person through the door and the file transfer they were doing for me was started while I was there to make sure it would work. I explained before paying that I only want to do it if I can have it the same day as I was on a deadline and that didn't happen. Next time I will just do the two-day shipping on amazon to get the parts/equipment I need and do it myself. For a brief positive the files I asked for were retrieved correctly and if you are not in a rush, and not sure how to do it yourself geek squad is a viable option just wish there was some hustle in the work.

Unfortunately I have had to use the Geek Squad several times in providing a data transfer. They take their time and make sure everything is done properly. On pick up all items are reviewed and made sure you know where all the data are and organized for ease of access. I am a monthly subscriber and this is the absolute best money I have ever spent on technology support. As a small business owner I have to watch my expenditures and this by far is beyond my expectations of service and capabilities.

My experience with the Geek squad was very brief. The associate was courteous, professional, and accurate. He took care of my problems in a very timely manner. I was very pleased.

They did a great job. I went in and set an appointment for the next open, 2pm. They said if I hangout for a few minutes there my be an opening—there was. I was thankful for this because it saved me from an hour extra drive.

In store data transfer for new iMac. Good experience overall. There was no direct line though to talk to a real geek squad person. The phone message said I would receive a notification when my computer was ready, but I never did. The in store pick up was quick, the staff very knowledgable and courteous.

They are very capable and responsive to questions. I was in area and stopped by and they knew exact status and schedule and offered to call me so I could get it the next morning if they finished that evening, as they did. I have been very happy to have paid for a one year geek squad membership when I bought my new computer. I bought it to include a data transfer and they did that well and I've used the phone support on a few questions and even had them remote in to my computer with permission and my assistance on one or two occasions. Like an office IT staff!!

They replaced my hard drive and transferred all my data from the old to the new. Thank you!

Service was good. Replaced hard drive on my laptop. But the technician did not address or replace my battery or fan in the laptop. This was discussed during my consultation when I dropped off my laptop.

They transferred material from one computer to another and all is well with it.

Was very happy with the service from the Geek Squad, the transferred all my data and my Micro Soft Office and all my other programs.
