Super easy! Should have done this years ago! They were able to problem solve and save all of my old documents and pics from an old hard drive.

I had always been a Microsoft customer, but hassled with so many connections for various components: speakers, camera, printer, etc. I love my purchase of the new I Mac Apple Computer. It is easy to operate and is so sleek and self- contained, that it takes very little desk space. Visually it is a dream and the sound quality is terrific. Also, I was able to purchase a compatible software package that would allow me to download all my Microsoft Office files and documents. I can still use familiar Office software. Very satisfied customer.

I have used the Geek Squad on several occasions and I am always very pleased. Transferring data from one computer to another was definitely not my forte. I know that I can just hand over any computer equipment to the Squad and they will handle it all for me. All the information carried over without a hiccup. The Staff kept me in tune as to their progress and called me when ready. I do miss the mini class that was given by TJ when I purchased my Mac, because I sure could have used his instruction on the Windows 8.1 now on my new Toshiba.

They were awesome when I purchased my computer. When the data was transferred, they were awesome at making sure I knew and understood where everything was and even set up some shortcuts on my desktop for quicker use. I took the computer in twice after that and they were awesome! I would recommend them to anyone that gets a computer and isn't that savvy on how to make it work. I went from Windows 7 to 10 when I got it, and they were great at explaining the differences and how to use it.

Brought in an old laptop that I was going to get rid of. Did a backup. Went as expected. Quick turnaround and no issues.

The agent was very good in explaining my options for my dead laptop. They were able to pull the info off of my hard drive and helped me pick out a USB that would fit my data.

The Geek Squad transferred my data from my old damaged laptop to my new one. They were fast and friendly. What else can you ask for?

When my old computer died they was able to retrieve the data and put in on the new laptop.. very happy with the service

I had issues with a Surface Pro that was locked. I was able to bring it in, verified the purchase and then told me the time to pick it up. Not only were they able to unlock it, they made sure it had all the latest software installed. This is just one instance, I tell everyone about the good things with Geek Squad.

There were fees added every time I wanted something on the new computer, but everything that was really important was transferred from old computer and all set up on new computer, which I could not have done without specific instructions. Feel like I can always depend on the Geek Squad with our yearly contract. We were not told of the muti-year contract when we first signed up several years ago, which would have saved us some dollars.

Your in-house Geek Squad provided the set up and data transfer the day I purchased my new computer. It was ready the next day. That saved me so much time and thought. I'm not good at that kind of stuff

Was hoping that the data transfer would take less than four days, but you guys kow what you're doing. Should have listened to my guy Chavez when he suggested I start up the laptop to make sure there were no problems. Had to come back to solve a small log-in problem.

I brought my old PC in to Best Buy as it would not turn on at all. I knew going into the store that baring some miracle I would have to purchase a new one, my main concern was that I had documents, pictures and other things on my old PC, things that could not be replaced. However the Geek Squad agent after verifying my concerns about my computer told me that they could transfer my data from my old pc to my new pc. They were able to do so and I lost nothing. as an added bonus they also gave me the old hard drive for peace of mind.

Purchased a new laptop and my files were transferred with no problem as well as a printer application. Service was quick and complete.

The agent looked at my problem--there was not being enough space in my computer for all that I wanted to have on board and suggested several options. He was able to explain how to remedy the situation and provided a range of price for each. I am grateful for his help

I purchased an Eaystore (2TB) portable backup external hard drive to have Best Buy download my files from my PC as I was unable to log onto it. So, the box that this hard drive came in was already opened since a Geek Squad member could download my files. All is well in that regard as I'm able to plug it into my laptop and access my 'old' files' However, in the drill to set up the hard drive, I get to a point wherein I'm asked for a 9 digit code to enter that is located on the "quick install guide" (as listed on the side of the box as being included. It wasn't). I spent a long, long time time with three different offices at your central phone location who said to make an appointment and go back to the BB store where I purchased it. That main office was unable to simply give me a phone number to call the store or to directly connect me to the store and get the 9 digit code. Their take was that the GS poc who downloaded my files didn't assure that the Quick Start Up Guide was repacked into the backup box. Very frustrating.

So much has improved with the Geek Squad experience! I did not have a waiting period to leave my newly purchased computer with GS's techie and was able to pick it up within a few days and also within a short time period to be waited on. GS applied all the data that I had given them, but were unable to save most of the programs. It is just as well, since most of them were only compatible with Vista which is no longer used or supported.

Data transfer was successful. Everything from my old computer was on my new computer. It was completed earlier than date given Nolan was very helpful in explaning everything.

The appointment was for an hour which was a great ability to do all the necessary work needed. Really appreciate that Sean was so capable and helpful.
