I was visiting out of town when my computer was giving me headaches. I called GeekSquad and they told me what the issue was. Each of the associates with whom I interacted was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They answered all my questions and assured me that my problem would be solved. And it was. They also made recommendations for future preventive measures. Thank You GeekSquad for the excellent work with my data backup and transfer.

So much has improved with the Geek Squad experience! I did not have a waiting period to leave my newly purchased computer with GS's techie and was able to pick it up within a few days and also within a short time period to be waited on. GS applied all the data that I had given them, but were unable to save most of the programs. It is just as well, since most of them were only compatible with Vista which is no longer used or supported.

Geek Squad people have always treated me well and been extra helpful. They have transferred data from one computer to another 3-4 times and have gotten faster every time! This most recent time they were completely done with setting up my new laptop and transferring the data from the previous computer a couple of days earlier than promised! I run a home-based business and being without a computer is killer, so I appreciated their speed and bow down to them for a job very well done!

I admit I am not very techy and that is the reason I made the Geek Squad purchase. This way any time I have a computer problem I can contact them, have them take care of my laptop, and get it back in excellent working order in no time. Less stress for me makes my life a whole lot easier knowing Geek Squad has things under control and have cleaned the laptop of any issues as well as providing backup for my hard drive and transfers should that have to happen.

It was a wonderful experience! The Geek squad members are really knowledgeable, and helped me through a scary virus threat on my computer! I was very satisfied!

I recently had my laptop fail. I tried to figure out the problem myself and ended up wasting 2 weeks and a lot of money and never figured it out correctly. In a matter of minutes, the Geek Squad determined the mother board needed to be replaced. This led to me purchasing a new laptop and having my old data transferred. The Geek Squad was great. They handled it in record time and communicated with me the whole tiime. I would use them every time!

They did a nice job salvaging my data (documents, pictures) off a laptop whose life was over.

laptop was no longer working so I contacted the Geek Squad to have hard drive from laptop transferred to external drive. From my initial contact via phone for an appointment, to the process of what will happen to transfer the data and then the pick up of the new external it was amazing. I do like my new laptop. I didn't realize how much I would miss not having the number pad, that truly is the only thing I wish it had.

Purchased a new iPad and had the Geek Squad do the set up and data transfer. Everything was done promptly and the new iPad worked perfectly after I received it back and all data was where it was supposed to be. I have a Total Tech Support membership which more than pays for itself year after year, so there was no charge for this service.

transfered old laptop to new, minor adjustments required,

I purchased an Eaystore (2TB) portable backup external hard drive to have Best Buy download my files from my PC as I was unable to log onto it. So, the box that this hard drive came in was already opened since a Geek Squad member could download my files. All is well in that regard as I'm able to plug it into my laptop and access my 'old' files' However, in the drill to set up the hard drive, I get to a point wherein I'm asked for a 9 digit code to enter that is located on the "quick install guide" (as listed on the side of the box as being included. It wasn't). I spent a long, long time time with three different offices at your central phone location who said to make an appointment and go back to the BB store where I purchased it. That main office was unable to simply give me a phone number to call the store or to directly connect me to the store and get the 9 digit code. Their take was that the GS poc who downloaded my files didn't assure that the Quick Start Up Guide was repacked into the backup box. Very frustrating.

Agent took my computer and backed up all of my data! I was a little nervous about the whole situation because they had to completely wipe my computer clean however at the end of it all they backed up my data the way they needed to & it was like nothing had ever happened. they did such a great job and the customer service rep was so great! I would definitely recommend to anybody who asks!

The technical support/ Geek Squad, and customer service at the Best Buy on Cobb Pkwy., in Acworth, GA has been very helpful in getting my data transferred from my old laptop to my new laptop, installing software, with showing me new features on the new laptop and with all my computer questions. The tech support guys have been very informative, very helpful and were very knowledgeable. Thank you in store reps./ Geek Squad, managers, and customer service for everything.

I found the Geek Squad at Best Buy, very professional and helpful. I purchased a MacBook and was only use to using a PC. The people I worked with were patient and very supportive to help me adjust to the changes between an Apple computer and my old PC. They were able to transfer the many documents from one to the other. I was relieved and felt more confident when I left and they let me know that I could call or come back if I needed more help in the future.

The agent was very good in explaining my options for my dead laptop. They were able to pull the info off of my hard drive and helped me pick out a USB that would fit my data.

Geek Squad to care of everything and transfered all my data from my old harddrive to my new computer, great job.
